Sir Winston Churchill won the war. ;)
Stalin had a lot more to do with winning WWII than FDR or Churchill. And Pearl Harbor had more to do with ending the depression than any of FDR's atrocious keynsian programs and trampling of the constitution.
The Russians sacrificed so much in that war. They were fully invaded which neither America nor Britain had been and heroically fought the Nazi's back. A touch of winter also helped play its part too.
The rulers of the nations did not win the wars anyway, it was the blood and heart of the combatants and those in control of military strategy. Presidents and Prime Ministers know diddly squat about war, but for me the winners of the war were the great unsung masses and they were from both East and West. It's a shame that the Russians returned back to tyranny and that Britain was finished and that America was only decades away from its own eventual tyranny.
Still, at least the Nazi's were gone.

Jesus is probably going to nab it. Although I've seen David Blane do some fucked up shit which should also see him in contention.
I think we have settled on how great America is.
Actually I think the weather slowed down then killed off the German army when they went to Russia, You could say Abraham made Hitler decide to go at the most stupid time.:-\
Re: Who is the greatest person ever in the history of humankind?
Jesus will take it even if he didnt exist as the Christians now depict him. Too late the construction of the fable has been solidified over 223 Popes and vatican Secret Councils.

Have we had any votes for Plopeater yet?

On the opposite end of the equation Mother Teresa.

So maybe not so opposite after all
I've read quite a bit of negative things about Mother Teresa, 1st off she was no fucking saint, not even close to being one, more of an over-hyped media creation. One of the many issues I have with humanity is that most are like sheep, blindly following ideologies, without examining their fatal flaws and outright lies.

I used to watch the 6 million dollar man, (Lee Majors) it all seemed so high tech at the time, funny how quickly technology becomes dated, even TV tech.

Not bad for a fictitious character in a religious novel, Moses probably comes in a close 2nd, another figment of the human imagination, who's given credit by some apologists for penning the 1st five books of the Old Testicle, as well as the "creation" yarn.

My vote would go to Leonardo De Vinci, because he was the greatest painter of all time with his famous pictures such as Mona Lisa, the last Supper, and Adam touching God. He inspired other great artists after him. He also conceptualised a helicopter, a tank, concentrated solar power, a calculator, and many other things. He was a man way a head of his times in terms of anatomy and engineering.
Mother Teresa.

Yeah. Good intentions but caused many deaths in the wake of them failing, unfortunate timing and a stubborn view to not include the existing army into the pay rises etc.Maybe if he had gone a touch slower and thought it out more his enemies would have shown their cards before their vengeance and he may have had more support by then :-\.

Leonardo was an amazing person, and just. He had to keep secret much of his knowledge because the Roman church would have had him burnt had they known the sources of his wisdom. (Which was and is a direct threat to their control of their masses).
He was very observant too, the dragon fly from creation is the very first helicopter design.
Leonardo knew the secrets behind sacred geometry he was taught the spiritual fields that surround the human body known as the Merkahbah. He drew them in perfect symmetry around the human form in that picture where the man is spread armed and he has the Adapted ancient symbol (Mosern day Jewish star tetrahedrons drawn around that man in perfection. Its proof to some that he was privy to the way.
I've held one of his sketches of a womans face once from a private collection.Even though his knoweldge was delicatley taken into an art form so many could see it, the golden mean and other symmetrical geometries found throughout the stars and within creation in microscopic form were bought to light on Earth through a few others before him, one I've already mentioned.
