Re: Tyson Fury "Key to beating Wlad is fighting southpaw"
I just watched Tyson Fury vs Christian Hammer....:spit: ridiculous, Tyson Fury may not even be a top 10 heavyweight based on that performance

Really!!!?
Other than the ending Wach was getting beaten!
Fury was in absolute control without even a full camp. You gotta take those Klitschko goggles off before Tyson slaps em off;D

" Fury was in absolute control without even a full camp. "
Ross, I noticed you alluded to this the other day, but I never commented because I was busy having a nice friendly discussion with adamGB that went on a bit.;)
I think you said Fury only had a 5 week camp because he knew Hammer was a journeyman that wouldn't bother him. if this is right then either Fury is a bullshitter, or he is extremely unprofessional. If he cuts corners now when he's supposed to be hungry to get to the top, how do we know he's not going to keep doing that?
Now a lot of people hate Mayweather , and that's fine, but he would never dream of not putting a serious camp in whoever he was fighting, and when he's asked about a future fight, I've seen him always give the same answer.... "we're not looking ahead of this fight." with all the money he's got and all he's achieved, it would be much easier for him to slack of mentally or physically, but it just don't happen.
now , you might think that it's an unfair comparison, but if Fury is to get the World domination that you think and beats the Klitschko's and Wilder's of this world , then that would be what he's compared with.
can't see it happening myself.
-
Re: Tyson Fury "Key to beating Wlad is fighting southpaw"
Well the answer to that is Tyson has yet to mature professionally. You cant say his fitness or stamina are lacking. Hes not plodding or puffing like Stiverne was as heavyweight champ.
Its a testament to Furys standing that he's being criticised for his weight/shape when the WBC champ wasn't. Fury can move fast and lightly on his feet in his current shape 260lb but he has fought at 245lb. Fact is he is head and shoulders above fringe contenders, whereas Mayweather is getting pushed to the limits by them and forced by public opinion to have rematches with them;D He's here to make money he's trying to fight the best. Hes screaming to fight the most dangerous fighter in the world and according to some the fighter that pulled out twice against him was the second most dangerous fighter in the world and to a few others he still is!
Compare that to Mayweather picking and choosing the not so dangerous fighters over the years but you are still scraping the barrel to try and desperately find something to criticise Fury over:rolleyes:
;D
Also...
This was sweet but why. I need to know?

Will to win, ability to put more than two punches together, movement, height, reach, speed. Fury is Wlads worst nightmare now.

Ha ha. Trust me Ross , I don't have to scrape the barrel to try to criticise Fury, there are many many things to criticise. ;D;D
Let's start with:
1. For a guy his size, he has no power.
2. He's a show pony. Flatters to deceive.
3. He's never beaten a HW of any quality.
4. He chose to swerve a British title fight with David Price and opted to fight a 40 year old part time taxi driver for the "Irish title" instead. that was despite going on national TV and telling everyone "it would take 10 plumbers to sort Price's face out when he's finished with him."
5. And in the same interview on national TV , he said he would sort out his "gay lover" Tony Bellew on the same night . (Actually , that's not a criticism, I thought it was fuckin hilarious!);D
6. I've already said he is unprofessional.
7. He's disrespectful of the top 2 P4P boxers on the planet by saying he would knock them both out on the same night! He's a fuckin foot taller and 10 stone heavier than both of them, he should knock them out FFS. But in the real world, he wouldn't lay a glove on either of them.
8. He took 10 rounds to get rid of a shop worn Chisora who wasn't capable of throwing a meaningful punch .
This is from someone who actually LIKES Tyson Fury. That is 1 fucking big barrel. And there's probably much more if I concentrated.

Re: Tyson Fury "Key to beating Wlad is fighting southpaw"
I'll put it to you this way, Nicolay Valuev was a better technical boxer than Tyson Fury is. At the very least Nicolay knew his limits, Tyson will have to be taught about his limits, but no worries Wladimir has a doctorate in dishing out pain so Tyson will get a very good lesson ;)

Haha!! Valuev!
Ok....
You keep trying to make Wlads opponents (Haye because thats Wlads best win, Haye is Wlads and Valuev is Hayes. Haye was willing to fight Wlad with an injury but ran twice from Fury) look better.
Its all good fun and ill end up winning;)

Chisora was brave against Vitali to be fair, but he lost every fucking round! If that was Vitali's toughest fight, he should've carried on till he's 70!
And by your reckoning, because Chisora gave Vitali a "good go" and Tyson played with him, Tyson beats Wlad?
Ok, let's use that theory , Haye beat Chisora better than Vitali AND Fury, so does that not mean Haye fuckin splatters Fury? Just using your logic here.

Point of clarification, Tyson Fury won't be fighting Vitali as Vitali is retired. So the crux of your argument, the very foundation upon which you hope to build some semblance of a coherent thought is flawed, no good, erroneous.
However, IF I was to accept your premise then here are my answer: Corrie Sanders. Corrie came to fight, he didn't back down to Vitali he just didn't have the firepower to do anything to Vitali. Other than that Chris Byrd, who indeed got lucky with Vitali picking up an injury, but Byrd was brave enough to take the fight, stay in harms way, and eventually come out the winner.
As for Dereck Chisora, sure he lasted with Vitali, but Vitali had re-injured his arm in the 3rd round and so Vitali battered Del Boy for 12 rounds, pitched close to a shutout, with 1 arm......1.
Now, would you like to debate Tyson Fury's fighting chances vs Wladimir whom Tyson may actually fight?

Stretch was exactly what I was thinking... My opinion on Fury aside, lets follow this logic using nothing but performances (and in the case of Wlad-Vitali, Wlad's admission that Vitali could beat him)
> donates greater than, = donates equal or close to, < donates lesser than
Following Ross' 'logic':
Chisora = Vitali > Wlad
So:
Fury > Chisora > Wlad
Only problem is:
Haye > Chisora, but if Chisora = Vitali > Wlad, why did Haye < Wlad?
and if Haye > Chisora x 4 (he beat Chisora in a quarter of the time Fury did), that places him above Fury if we follow your logic.
Haye > Fury > Chisora = Vitali > Wlad (not sure where to fit Lewis in all this, your logic got too convoluted to attempt to follow by that point). The guy at the bottom of that huge stretch you made somehow shutout the guy at the top, so I think we'll agree that using Dereck fucking Chisora as some sort of benchmark test for heavyweights from 2000-2015 is fucking ridiculous thing to do?...
Surely you're not stupid enough not to recognise the stage that Lewis was at in his career when he fought Vitali, the stage on his career Vitali was at when he fought Lewis and the stage he was at when he fought Chisora and realise that the stages between the three are so wide that drawing anything thing from it is impossible?
Not to much that Vitali scored a clear win on the cards over Chisora, he just had to work a little bit more than if they'd fought 3-4 years or more ago. A young Vitali had Lewis in a competitive dog fight.
Not to mention that fighter A beating fighter B and then fighter C beating fighter A doesn't mean that C beats B? Just look at Ali, Frazier and Foreman's round robin to see how flawed that logic has been proven to be...
You have to be posting stupid shit for a reaction at this point Ross?

A young. Vitali had a very old Lewis in a hard fight.
Im posting the truth. You dont like it.
Me posting the truth about Tyson Fury in this forum is like dripping blood in front of a school of Sharks.
Its going to be hilarious watching you all eat crow. Or rather the silence. Be like an old western with a tumble weed rolling past where you PM Primo Carnera asking "what just happened"?

And he's still better than anyone Wlad has faced. ;D
Well that's an opinion ! Not an opinion I share. I think loads of guys Wlad beat would beat Fury.
Ok...
Wlad has said himself what everyone else thinks that his brother would kick his ass.
Other than Lewis who gave Vitali his hardest fight? Oh yeah Chisora! The same Chisora Fury played with twice!;D;D;D
Haye certainly didnt think so;)
Maybe you should have had a word in his ear and to,d him not to worry he'll be fine;D
What do you mean here? Oh Yeah, "in your opinion", Haye Ducked Fury. Despite the fact that he had an operation and has never fought since and not earned a penny since, it was all a bit of a fake injury ...... IN YOUR OPINION.
Funny, you don't reply to the FACT that Fury ducked Price? I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on that.
For that matter, didn't Fury duck Pulev in order to fight Haye? Again, thoughts please.
So that's a British title shot and a World title eliminator that Fury has swerved. These are FACTS NOT OPINIONS.
Pulev has since deservedly got his shot. Now, you can summise that Fury is better than Pulev and will give Wlad a better fight, but there comes a time when talk becomes worthless and you have to "walk the walk."
I re-iterate, Fury has never beaten anyone that makes anyone bar you logically think he can beat a guy who hasn't even looked like getting beat recently.

Like I said, its going to be hilarious when Tyson Fury brings your (in your mind) boxing world crumbling down.
Stop writing essays. I an write a couple of sentences and they get a far bigger response than any boring essay any of you can write.
The funniest thing is I'm the only one who's had any official capacity in boxing here. Doesn't given me Devine rights but still funny when I read some of the crap dribbled on here.

Re: Tyson Fury "Key to beating Wlad is fighting southpaw"
Firstly, that's a rather pathetic/weird little fantasy.
Secondly I already said that Vitali was young and Lewis was old. You're countering my points by regurgitating something that I said myself to me? ???
Thirdly, I just followed your stretched logic regarding Lewis/Wlad/Vitali/Fury and illustrated how David Haye's loss to Wlad and annihilation of Chisora made the wheels fall off the whole thing and your only refutal was to re-say something I'd said back to me as it it disproved something? :vd:
How many drinks have you had this evening?

Re: Tyson Fury "Key to beating Wlad is fighting southpaw"
Ross, you're like that kid at the end of High School who bragged about how shit his GCSEs were as if it made him some sort of rebel... No, it was just because he was an idiot.
I'd personally be concerned if a single sentence from me resulted in several paragraphs explaining exactly how stupid what I just said was.
Your posts are like a blocked U-Bend, a tonne of shite compressed into a tiny little space... All I'm doing is decompressing the shit.

Iv posted that before probably half a dozen times. They couldnt fight according to Kellie Maloney as Price was tied to Sky Sports whereas Fury was with channel 5. peter Fury then found out Kellie was lying because there was no contract tying Price to Channel 5. Search fury, Price, gollum and you'll hopefully find Peter Furys article on it. Kellie, Price or no one has ever refuted what Peter has said because its the truth.

I see still photography is a complicated concept for you to follow, do you think there's a small person trapped inside telephones? They've discovered fire where you're from though, right?
That's not my punchbag Ross, it's my gym's... you're my punchbag and yet again, you've proven to be full of nothing bit hot air.

Tyson Fury: I turned down David Price fight because I was offered "chicken feed" - Liverpool Echo
Perhaps you should read this Ross. This was straight from the Horse's mouth. Not a word about Maloney or TV Deals blah blah blah. He says he wasn't offered enough money and he was moving on towards a World title.
Yeah , so he fought Rogan for the Irish HW Title.
Now , your comments on the Pulev duck please. ;D
