Besides Khan is very young and was ko'd badly not so long ago. Every bit just as justified for Khan to take on the same comparative level of opponent as Cotto. Cotto does one every year anyway....Urkal, Gomez, Jennings, Foreman and now this....

cause Khan has NEVER taken a tough fight to be able to take it easy from, he got KTFO by a guy who is now a borderline journeyman, Cotto lost to Margarito and took an easy fight in Jennings, then followed that up against a tough Clottey and followed that up against Pacquiao, Khan takes on C level fighters then finally "steps it up" to beat a B level fighter, if you honestly don't think that Khan has been doing the same thing as Donaire (who at least has a stand out victory over Darchinyan) then you're honestly blind bro, Khan is content fighting crap in order to keep his strap, it's already about time he gets his career moving cause up to now (even with a belt) he has done jackshit in his career, he's at least talking the right talk saying he wants to take on Alexander, Bradley, and Maidana, but it's already time that he starts doing it and does a little less talking, and we know that neither of the guys mentioned are scared of KhanQuote:

I genuinely agree with you, however the fact is there aren't many other 23 year olds in the sport with a comparable resume. If he continues to improve his level of opponent, by the time he reaches his peak he should be fighting the best guys in his division. My point was, regardless of what either of them have done in the past, it's fair to assume that they both require time to settle with their new coach and iron out the deficiencies in their respective games. I was just confused as to why it was fine for Cotto to take two complete gimmies whilst he adapts to his new trainer's teachings, when it's not ok for other fighters.Quote:

I think Arum is babying Cotto until he faces Pac again... this is really getting sad. Even Angulo is a joke at the top level IMO, any good boxer will beat him. I think Arum just can't handle putting Cotto in with Berto who could very likely beat him. Cotto didn't look great against FOreman, and he had troubles with FOreman's speed when he is significantly slower than Berto, with way less power. Cotto seemed to lack a lot of his power in that fight, and though he had better balance he was still getting hit easily, and he's had more wars than Berto which I think has made his chin a little more suspect, and I could see Berto badly hurting him with one, whereas Cotto doesn't have that same explosiveness, nor does he have that vaunted body attack he once possessed.

thing is Berto tends to wait on guys like he's done against Urango and he did in the middle rounds against Collazo, IMO Cotto takes his speed away with body work, and like i said earlier Berto has a suspect chin, he's been hurt by lighter hitting guys than Cotto (in no way is Cotto a light puncher especially at 147)Quote:
