seems like Cotto just wants to get a couple more rounds in with Steward in his corner basically to adjust a bit more, which IMO is completely understandable

Yet when it's rumoured that Khan will be fighting a weak opponent for pretty much the same reason you flag him up on it

difference is Cotto is already on the slide of his career, and has titles in 3 divisions, including wins over Pinto, Corley, Malignaggi, Bailey, Torres, Quintana, Judah, Mosley, Clottey, and Foreman

what the hell has Khan done to be able to take it so easy? beat up a shot Barrera (and technically shouldn't even be a win), an overrated Kotelnik, knock out a bum, then finally dominate a feather fisted Malignaggi who also is coming to the end of his career

when Cotto was where Khan is at in this point of his career he took on all comers and fought hard hitting fighters even after being dubbed as "chinny" (after the Corley fight)

also add in that Khan has been with Roach for over a year, and has had 4 fights with him in his corner

that's the big difference

Besides Khan is very young and was ko'd badly not so long ago. Every bit just as justified for Khan to take on the same comparative level of opponent as Cotto. Cotto does one every year anyway....Urkal, Gomez, Jennings, Foreman and now this....

I'm not knocking him for it, i just don't see why you knock Khan for it. Well i do, but it's unreasonable imo.

cause Khan has NEVER taken a tough fight to be able to take it easy from, he got KTFO by a guy who is now a borderline journeyman, Cotto lost to Margarito and took an easy fight in Jennings, then followed that up against a tough Clottey and followed that up against Pacquiao, Khan takes on C level fighters then finally "steps it up" to beat a B level fighter, if you honestly don't think that Khan has been doing the same thing as Donaire (who at least has a stand out victory over Darchinyan) then you're honestly blind bro, Khan is content fighting crap in order to keep his strap, it's already about time he gets his career moving cause up to now (even with a belt) he has done jackshit in his career, he's at least talking the right talk saying he wants to take on Alexander, Bradley, and Maidana, but it's already time that he starts doing it and does a little less talking, and we know that neither of the guys mentioned are scared of Khan
