It's not a case of khan being scared , just a fight with Prescott just really does nothing for his career. Prescott has lost three times now since that win and in doing that his stock has gone down significantly. The only way he would have fought khan again is if he didn't lose and continued knocking people out like he did against khan. He brings nothing to the table anymore and I don't see his career going anywhere. Khan however is going places and he has proved that it was just an off night the Prescott defeat. Khan is working very well with roach and he doesnt need a Prescott fight at all.
What he brings to the table is that he is the only person to beat Khan. Avenging Khan's only loss is better than beating someone of McCloskey's ilk. On paper it is an easy win for Khan, but people would buy it because of the brutal KO Khan suffered at the hands of Prescott.

Thats what i was getting at hence why i put the " " around bigger fish to fry.
Bradley can't fight him right now because of promoter issues and when he can come back, he would want a tune up before taking on a big fight like Khan.
Mayweather is fighting Ortiz and will likely try and get another Pacquiao deal done.
Matthysse just pulled out of a fight with Morales because of injury and Morales is old and shot so Khan fighting him would be a joke.
Peterson is a decent option for Khan but i think Prescott does more for him. Peterson is the better fighter but Bradley already beat him and Prescott knocked Khan out in 54 seconds.
Why Khan doesn't want the rematch, i don't know.

It was only three years ago.
This isn't like Pacquiao rematching Singsurat right now lol.
He did beat McCloskey, he just didn't get the decision.
Khan would likely outbox Prescott easily but saying he will do it proves nothing. Khan rematching him and actually doing it means alot more and you know it.
Khan has no good fights out there right now. Why not rematch the guy that gave you your only loss and knocked you out in 54 seconds.

Did you actually watch the fight ?
McCloskey at best deserved a draw.
Mitchell beat him but it doesn't change the fact that Prescott knocked Khan out in less than a minute.
It wouldn't be a waste of time.
Khan avenging a devestating loss like that would help his career. if you think otherwise you are blind.
It's not like he has a fight signed either.
Re: Prescott v. McCloskey
It's annoying that Prescott didn't get the win he deserved as it would have set up a potential rematch with Khan or a fight with Maidana. Prescott against either of those 2 would be far more interesting than McCloskey against one of them imo.

i agree
prescott maidana would be pretty firery
Re: Prescott v. McCloskey
Of course you had McCloskey "edging" it.
Prescott deserved the win, i'm sure the majority of fans agree with me.
Khan is a champion and has gone on to do better things while Prescott has had his downs since his win over Khan but why does Khan not want to avenge the only loss on his record ?
Khan deep down surely wants to erase the only loss of his career. He has the chance right now.
I think he should take it especially since he has no fights lined up.
You keep telling me why Khan shouldn't fight Prescott so in your opinion, who should Khan fight next ? who is available for Khan's December matchup ?

Jesus Christ. The idea of Con geting back into the against Prescott really scares you to death, doesn't it? If it's such an easy win you would think one would say go ahead Con. Get it over with. But no. Con and his groupies want no part to the sequal "Gone in 54 Seconds"
Re: Prescott v. McCloskey
Prescott deserved the nod. He was winning by a fair margin going into the championship rounds and fair play on McCloskey digging in, but it wasn't enough IMO.
There is no good reason for Khan not to fight Prescott. If Lewis can avenge losses then so can Khan. Such a poof for never giving Prescott a rematch.
Re: Prescott v. McCloskey
Didn't all 3 judges score it for McCloskey? Majority of the fans doesn't really matter.
