he was right when he said wlad would win? so did the vast majority of boxing fans, there was probably a higher percentage than normal saying haye would win (or at least had a good chance) but in general the vast majotity said wlad

i am a haye fan, I was in benidorm on a stag do and I put 1 bet on the fight, wlad on points

which got me a free night

if i could have put wlad on points with excessive holding and leaning i would have and then i would have won a bit more :)

On here opinion seemed to be split about 50-50 as to who would win.

I didn't think Wlad's chin would stand up to Haye's overhand right for 12. Regardless, Wlad nulified Haye and he couldn't do shit. No point arguing it anymore. He is the best.

I've yet to see many Haye fans admit it was HAYE that night who didn't want to fight. Wlad does what he does everyone knows what you get with him, but Haye with the constant trash talk and bullshitting and he fought like THAT....come on man that was a pathetic showing by Haye who honestly with his athleticism and skill could have provided Wlad a challenge but Haye brought nothing to the table and then blamed a pinky toe injury....Bush League my friend, Bush League

I can admit when Wlad fights well and when he doesn't, but the important thing is all he does is WIN.

I think when wlad fights the majority of people want the other guy to win

I think more people believed haye had a chance

I think smaller fighters than wlad fighting under wlads rules have only one chance of winning and that's staying on the outside, avoiding the clinches and landing pot shots

its no surprise that the two best fighters he has fought who were smaller than him fought that way

Povetkin actually ATTEMPTED to win, Haye just fought like a little bitch. And don't give me this "Wlad and Vitali have their own rules" bullshit, if the ref doesn't call it then it's fair play. Eddie Chambers tried to bodyslam Wlad, it's not like other fighters haven't attempted to retaliate. In the end the opponents simply aren't good enough to beat either brother. It's just that simple, but feel free to keep complaining I mean it's SOOOO interesting the points you make and all :vd:

To the ref's credit he didn't warn Povetkin for holding when Wlad was attempting to knock him out he warned Wlad for PUSHING and for throwing Povetkin down but those were due to Wlad hurting Povetkin, Povetkin not tying up Wlad's arms and Wlad trying to get Povetkin out of there....but hey you think how you want to doesn't bother me.

I'll say this first before I get ostracized. Wlad's last fight was quite a poor performance. However I did enjoy his beatdown of Wach. It had sustained action and tons of combinations thrown in the mix.

As for boring fighters, honestly I always fought ricky hatton fights boring because they were way too sloppy. B-hop had some really sloppy ones and some really beautiful ones e.g. (Hopkins vs Winky vs Hopkins vs Pavlick)

And Wach #1 Tried to use a glove without the proper amount of padding AND #2 Was juiced up and Wladimir STILL shut him out. Also @erics44 Wach was taller and heavier than Wlad....and Wladimir STILL won....how is that possible? How? ;D

You can really tell the difference between people who are fans of boxing and people who are just fans of fighting here.

Some of the guys listed are boring, most aren't.
