Can't say I am surprised. Same old nonsense, same outlandish claims, it is stretching credibility to and beyond the limits. And we are all supposed to believe this ?

I just spent nearly 3 minutes listening to a mental patient. Thanks ross
He is a bit nutty but does talk sense and I like the fact he backs up what he says by offering to talk face to face and even spar with the people he's talking about.

Yeah sorry, its all a big joke.
Haye hasn't really cost everyone a lot of money and pulled out of yet another fight:rolleyes:
Its all my fault;)

Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
Peter Fury
"We're very disappointed, He's got a history of pulling out, I think his camp wasn't going very good and they knew Tyson would do a number on him. Now we've got to move on. I want to get Tyson out in October, then we'll try to get one of these Klitschkos."
"I tell you now, I spoke to Adam [Booth] and they're not keen to get this fight on. Tyson is devastated. It's sad, really, and it's very sad for boxing. It is a disappointment, but we'll move on."

Its unfortunate what has happened but it will be even worse if the fight doesnt get rescheduled and haye gets the vitali fight.
What happened with the hand injury over the charr fight? Why did that fight never happen?
A loss to fury would be career ending for haye.
Do i think haye would beat fury?
Yes. I think haye would knock him out.
Im just dissapointed. Its bad enough waiting for these fights and then this happens.
Ah well. Haye can make another 10 million from us by falling down 17 times against the klits.
-
Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
Lol so let me see if I understand this correctly. Haye purposely goes to spar with the intention of getting out of a fight with a guy that is less talented then Jess Willard in order to scrap an easy 5 million dollar pay day in order to fight a much more dangerous man that may or may not be retired.

Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
Any boxing fan knows that injuries happen.. But when it involves a fighter with a pattern, a history of pulling out of fights, then yea he's not going to get the benefit of a doubt.
I can't think of another year in Boxing where there has been so many postponments and cancelled fights due to " injuries ".. There's been countless this year..
I think this is becoming somewhat of a fad, a new way to pull out of fights.. SO many cancelled fights this year had me scratching my head like, how can a fighter get injured so close to fight night?? Some of these cancelled fights seem bogus as fuck and i dont buy it.
One of the best pullouts was from none other than Zab Judah few years ago against Shane Mosley... He apparently " slipped in the shower " and had to get shitloa of stitches.. lol How often does that happen...
Fuck david haye

Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
Haye didn't have to cut himself to get out of the fight.
He could've paid CJ Ross a few thousand to sit in as a judge, and then made sure he lasted the 12 rounds.
-
Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
If the twat would have had another mystery illness I'd be on the wagon but nobody and especially a celebrity/ part time boxer like Haye would risk a cut like that and on that spot in order to get a bigger payday or get out of a fight. You get sliced there once or twice that close to the bone and pretty soon its rice paper and you are bleeding like Arturro Gatti. Meaning on the way to the ring. I'd have to go back and look but I'm pretty sure he's been cut there at least once before. Shit like that can be career ending even if its part time. Nobody premeditates stuff like this especially a guy in his position. Thinking it makes the line between hate and fundamental stupidity look pretty fine.
-
Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
@IamInuit , no one seriously believes Haye cut himself, bro. But you gotta admit..... the guy has a history of "hard-to-ignore" shit. First he breaks Guinness world records for trash-talking before Wlad, and proceeds to stink up the ring, all the while blaming his big toe. He considers himself a celebrity, as many of you well state, and thus is somehow exempt from having to grunt his way to a championship fight against a Klitschko. It's like.... "Honey, I'm home. Is dinner ready?" He thinks he's entitled because he's David Fucking Haye. He's got a history of pulling out of fights for mysterious reasons. And now that he had his fans practically foaming at the mouth at the prospect of a good fight against Fury..... he moronically exposes himself to a fight-postponing injury in a sparring session, obviously without any headgear. I've seen real fights stopped for lesser cuts than that one. So on top of it all, he disrespects his sport... and his fans.
Why should anyone cut him any slack?

Realistically who spars so close to the fight?
Fury stopped a week ago because thats what pros do, to avoid getting burnt out and injured. Totally orchestrated.....
Yes maybe Haye ran a blade across his eye or is using Halloween make up to fool the public.
You do spout out some proper bullshit fella
Ok, make up is far fetched (although are you that naive to think that all those injuries in Holby are real;D) but ask yourself this. With everything on the line, losing to Fury would ruin Haye, would you really spar with no headgear just a week away from the most important fight of your career?
He never had any intention of going through with it and was hoping for this to happen.
This is the most important fight of Furys career.
Not Hayes lol
I beg to differ...
Haye is supposed to spark Fury inside 2 rounds, sposed to be easy work;)
What the reality is, is losing to Fury after being such a favourite and fury viewed as such a rubbish fighter discredits Hayes whole career and proves people like me right.
Its more of a knock to Haye when he loses as he's supposed to win. He's done it on purpose, never wanted to go through with the fight. If he's supposed to spark him in 2 the cut wont be a problem, go through with it. He knows he was in a world of trouble and I doubt the fight ever happens now. It took Haye long enough to sign after Peter Fury and Booth had agreed everything. Haye doesnt want to box any more, although he does want to bullshit all you naive morons in to thinking he has a chance against vitali for another big payday;)
Its true.
Haye has alot of power, speed and talent but so much goes on behind the scene that we jusr dont know about.
Fury should keep the date and get someone else to fight even at this short notice just so he keeos himself busy.

My friend that's fence sitting a bit and no offense personally. You simply cant lead off with that statement and have me take it all that seriously. You cant on the one hand agree that its ridiculous to think he cut himself or allowed himself to be cut and then doubt it because of past shady deeds.
A cut ended the fight. That's it. No conspiracy. Nobody volunteers that injury.
Besides, does anyone outside of a Haye hater actually believe that such a lumbering double left footed telegraphing oaf had a chance to even take this fight deep? Btw I'm half Irish on my fathers side. Fury's still a reincarnation of Primo Carnera and empirical evidence for history repeating itself.

Pulling out of a fight now, a week before it's scheduled to happen, and for the second time in 6 months, could well be the straw that breaks the camel's back for the fans that buy tickets to the fights and sky who invest money in showing them. I honestly can't see any upside to faking this injury unless a deal is in place to fight Vitali. It's probably a bit reckless to pick up a sparring injury like this a week out when most people would be tapering their training down but I don't doubt it's legitimacy cos there really isn't any benefit to pulling out for Haye.
The benefit to Haye was not losing to Fury.
This forum alone id say over 80% think that Haye will win and win early so if he had lost he becomes a laughing stock and loses and viability he may have had as a future Klitschko opponent.
That last point you made just sank your own ship, why would one of the Klits put their time into a fight with an unreliable opponent? They wouldn't waste their time with a flake. Your theory won't hold enough air to stay above water, it just will not sail. Abandon the Dark side, come back to the Light. lol

Re: Haye v fury postponed!!!!
Do we know that he wasn't wearing headgear? Is it really that uncommon to do some final sparring a week before a fight:dontknow: If neither is a yes, then this is just really bad luck. Haye does absolutely have the history and he's going to catch a lot of flack because of it, but I don't see what that has to do with this in reality.

I could be a little daft and missing something. I smoke a fair bit of weed and am over 50. I'm understanding quite nicely I think. David Haye got cut in sparring. I dont know that he was sparring without head gear and even if he was so what? Lots of fighters do and have done this. A week before the fight sure that's ego or something and Murphy then entered the room. But I dont know that he was not wearing head gear unless I missed something.
Why was fence sitting such an insult. You dont believe anything was up but then conclude that there is. Its a Canadian expression. Please dont involve me in the board politics. I'm the same guy I was yesterday and believe that I call it all as I see it. There is nothing personal about this and especially this topic. I have no vested interest in David Haye. He could get hit by a bus Sunday on his way to a photo shoot and existentially I could care less.
Fact is you and others view this as something of ulterior in the motive department and I just think its nutbar to think so.

Fact is..... that is INcorrect.
Ulterior motive implies something intentional.
Reckless and careless behavior is not necessarily intentional.
Asinine? Inconsiderate? Foolish? Par for the course?
Damn straight.
But not necessarily intentional.
It's not like you, IamInuit, to repeat the same opinion several times over, when I've repeatedly shown it to be untrue. :-\
And please spare me the lecture on forum politics, my friend.

Semantics. You cant have it both ways. Fact of the matter is, conclusions have been drawn or at least pointed to that because of Hayes past that this is suspect. Now you dont need to hold a doctorate in deductive reasoning to see it. Define intentional. The definition of ulterior is as circular as the thought or act so taking a one word for its definition is more suspect then Haye.
Look man he got cut. Cut above the eye on the front of the skull. Nothing sinister.
End of story and I'm not continuing this.

Exactly. Suppose Haye had never pulled out of a fight or been hard to negotiate with, never turned in anything less than stellar in the ring. The fact that this isn't the case has DICK ALL to do with what happened here, it's just an unfortunate coincidence.

Let's just see what happens next, shall we?
We're getting ahead of ourselves.
If Haye were to heal from his wound, and try to reschedule the fight with Fury..... all is good.
If he comes out of this clamoring for his shot at a Klitschko, well.......
What can I say.

Hey... I wanted to watch Haye-Fury. But it didn't happen, ok?
TBH, (and for the good of all "Haye-fandom").... I'd actually rather the first outcome happen.
And then have a good fight between the two.... and may the best man win.
