Mitchel was coming off his career best display by beating Sven Ottke.
No it wasn't his best performance his best performance was against Frankie Liles his fight against Sven Ottke was no robbery but for certain controversial but like i already told you earlier in this thread Sven Ottke had about 9 controversial decisions in his career against the likes of Mad Larsen and David Starie who are only decent fighters.

You clearly have not seen the Ottke fights and Graham was 37.
I own the Ottke fights. The first one was a draw. Ottke took the second by a point. Something Brewer acknowledged. Guess you know more than him, huh?
And just so you know Graham-Brewer took place in 1998. Graham was born in 1959. If you ever learn how to add and subtract you'll see he was 39. Not 37.

Herol Graham feather fisted?
WTF, thats the most stupid statement today, congratulations!
Mr featherfisted had McCallum on queer street and had Jackson saying "I aine never been hurt like that every punch felt like he was hitting me with a brick, i had to catch him i knew i would have lost"
Don't insult me about something you know nothing about do you know why he was nicknamed "Bomber" ? too fool his opponents into believing he was he was a hard hitting brawler when infact he was a good boxer with a lack of punching power which has been stated by Herol Graham and his trainer........
Maybe feather fisted was the wrong word but he certainly isn't a hard hitter and his record proves this and as for Mike McCallum he was never in any trouble with Herol Graham he just had a hard time dealing with Herol Graham's style.......
And as for Julian Jackson he had not long had surgery on his detatched retina if i remember rightly ? i have seen the fight many times and Herol Graham boxed rings around Julian Jackson and landed alot of fast good punchers but none of his punches were real *power punches* and basically Julian Jackson was having problems with his old detatched retina which is a known fact.

Again you insult me over the internet is that supposed to impress me ? because your last comment just got shot down in flames and as for this comment i wouldn't say it was a robbery but i did have Byron Mitchell winning actually find out what the person means before you started insulting people or have you really got anger issues that you can't have an intelligent debate without resorting to childish insults ?

Well if you knew about him you would know why he was nicknamed "Bomber" and even Herol Graham himself and his trainers said he wasn't big puncher thats why he got that nickname to fool his opponents so i don't really care if he is or isn't your favorite fighter thats a fact whether you like it or not he isn't a big puncher.

That is not unusual.
Here's a Larry Holmes quote - "Why do you think I'm fighting? The glory? The agony of defeat? You show me a man who says he ain't fighting for money, I'll show you a fool"
Here's one from Roy Jones - "Fighters want to fight for titles, but not as much as we want to fight for MONEY."
;)

Oh I know you didn't consider him the real world champion. I just find it funny that you actually call him that when it comes to talking about Calzaghe's past opponents. Like if he actually was one.

Judging by the way you scored the Brewer/Ottke fights id say you fall in the group "Unlike some other people"

I already stated that was the wrong word to use but he wasn't a big puncher and as i already said and my other comment about Herol Graham's nickname already proves my point about his punching power i don't need to keep repeating myself.

Well thats true of most fighters isn't it ? if any boxer caught you by suprise or in a certain place you would know about it.......
Even Sven Ottke KO'ed Anthony Mundine with one shot to the temple because he caught Anthony Mundine by suprise and in the right place and look how low his KO ratio is but he still managed it and yet Anthony Mundine went 12 rounds with Mikkel Kessler who is a much bigger puncher.

From your posts it's obvious your opinion comes from whatever the current public perception is. If people say he was robbed, than you say he was robbed. If people say he's great, you say he's great. If people say he sucks, than you say he sucks. It impossible to really talk sense with somebody like that. Cuz there opinion isn't there own. It's what they been told to think. No idea of there own. Just like sheep
Bah. Bah. Bah

NEVER ever ever have I stated Brewer was The REAL WORLD CHAMPION! The MAN!
I referred to him by his rightful title - a former IBF "world" champion. Fact.
I believe an alphabet champion would rate above journeyman class in most peoples eyes (clearly not yours). So.. being an alphabet champion gives a fighter a smidgen of kudos, at the very least. That's all. ;)

I would agree with you if the fighter actually beat another alphabet champion for his belt. Brewer didn't.
