If you're innocent you don't need lawyers Lyle, you just have to tell the truth. Nobody pleads guilty to crimes they didn't commit. In Flynn's case pleading guilty has cost him millions, he's unemployable now in the jobs he could have walked into previously and nobody wants to hire a convicted felon. He's destined for an Oliver North career on Fox News and the conservative wingnut welfare circuit. And Lyle, if the number three person in government behind Trump and Pence has been given a plea deal, who could possibly be above Flynn in the list of people who could be prosecuted where he would get a plea deal instead of being charged? Flynn had millions of reasons to turn down any deal where he pled guilty but had no choice because the FBI had the goods on him.
