All whites are Caucasian, but not all Caucasians are white.

Yet you look up the term in Wikipedia, and it says, among other things, this:

As you read further, it appears the term has morphed over time and, not only has its usage in American English been criticized, as stated above.... but some even write about whether the term is outdated and even needed any more. Now we get to the crux of the matter and the original question. Who is "white" and who isn't. But my point goes beyond trying to define whether Dravidians, Persians, or Lebanese are considered "white" and by whom. It also includes the massive and ever-growing amount of cross breeding between all these races/ ethnicities (call them what you like). This "continuum" you refer to is far more blurry and undefined, and becomes even more so as time goes on. You've got combinations of combinations of combinations to the Nth power.

Kudos for finally providing a serious answer to a serious question, and not talking about "blacks banging whites" or anything like that. I myself can be viewed "white" by some, "non-white" by others. I'm a Puerto Rican with Italian ancestry. Two brothers came from Italy in the 1800's and settled on the island.... says the family tree I came out of. But Puerto Rico is notorious for having a vast mixture of cultures in one big melting pot, much like the States. Most of us have Spaniard blood, African blood, native Indian blood, North American blood, etc, etc. You can find blond, blue-eyed Puerto Ricans, and black Puerto Ricans.

One thing I enjoy about living and having been raised in Puerto Rico is the lack of racial issues (or even separation) that you see in the States.

But back to my original question: At what point do you draw the "line" between black and white? My own answer would be that nowadays it's almost an impossible task. You ask some people I've met in life, and they'll say I'm not "white" and neither is any Puerto Rican, Mexican, Arab, Indian, or any of a host of other origins other than Europe..... and that would probably come with some asterisks attached.

I’d much rather ask a cross section of black Puerto Ricans because I don’t think they’d say there is a lack of racial issues. I know if I went to Puerto Rico it would be the same old story. The white Puerto Ricans on top and the black Puerto Ricans on the bottom. The black P.Ricans (As a group) would live in the worst areas, the most unemployed, most in prison, shot and killed by police, seen as dumb and lazy and blamed for the crime, have the worst health.

Don’t include black people in with Latino’s and Asians. Black people have no allies. Most Latino’s and Asians are team white supremacy and can't stand black people.

Racism against whites ? Name one thing that black people (as a group) have stopped white people (as a group) from doing that they had a right to do ? For example, denying them the right to work, own a home, live in a certain area, get a just trial, an education, or use any public facility.

Sure a black person can come up to a white person and bash their skull with a rock because he doesn’t like white people. But that black person is an INDIVIDUAL acting as an INDIVIDUAL and there is no system in place that will support his right to harm whites (Not to mention that white people make sure they live as far away from black people as possible and have as fewer black people working with them as possible)

What you have to understand is when I’m talking about white people it has nothing to do with genetics. Whiteness is given by the society based on what people presume you to be.
And that presumption has nothing to do with genotype (since I cannot know a white person DNA just by looking at him) but rather, everything to do with phenotype, which is the way certain genes are expressed outwardly EG - Skin pigmentation, and a handful of other characteristics, which are controlled by about six genes out of 30,000 in the overall human genome.

No big D I never said things were great now I said better. My point was you (although I think u r white) are not accomplishing anything with hatred and racism. Perhaps blacks do tone words down out of fear of HR at work but don’t think we have don’t do the same. We live in constant fear of the current climate. Any racial or gender comment taken out of context and being white I’m screwed. I never know what will offend anyone. If you do work, what do u say to white peoples? How do u deal with them. How about when you pay for something and a white guy is working the register? What if your landlord is white? How does someone with all this spite interact in person. Here you can talk all the shit you want but u also got live in there real world and thode white peeps r everywhere.

I don't make fun of how white people talk or dress or look.
I don't make fun of the food white eat or the names they give their children.
I don't hold up the poorest and most criminal elements of white people as “what white people are like”.
I don't excuse violence against them saying that whites kill each other all the time.
I don't try and prove that a white person deserved to die if get shot and killed by the police
I don't call them racial slurs or compare them to animals.
I don't claim white people are intellectually inferior to black people
I don't call for their genocide or ethnic cleansing.

Black people do not spend ANY amount of time turning the image of white people into “Halloween costumes” or sport team mascots
Black people do not waste our time creating “jokes” about white people, such as the HUGE inventory of jokes created by whites about blks

Whenever I say something bad about whites it almost always has to do with their racism. Calling out racism is not racist.

You could walk into work tomorrow and you can walk up to black person and call him anything "Nigger. Blackie. Ape" Anything.

You'd get transferred. Not sacked and that's worst case scenario. You'd most likely be asked "What's happened ?" and if you have a good enough lie. You'll be all right

Just this year a white bus driver was calling a black woman all times names ? His punishment ? He gets voted to the school board

Black men who mess up get specific court dates or sacked. White men GET TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER JOB.
