That is all. With Klitschko fighting for Ukraine, Russia and Germany all at the same time, he has been very hard to beat. He may not be from all these countries but anytime I talk to someone about boxing it's either the 'German brothers', 'tall Russian guy.'

I merely commented on his return to boxing and given the lack of depth and consistency of the heavyweight division (outside of The Klitschkos) I merely stated that an in shape Kirk Johnson would prove to be an interesting matchup for some contenders and journeymen, I never even said Johnson would win. Personally I think Haye thought it was a good idea at first to taunt the brothers and fight them both...I think he did some research and looked how easy they dispose of their opp regardless of who....I think he sees Wlad beating men 6'5" with his jab and said "Shit man this is not the fight for me but I can't just say I don't want to fight them" so he plays little games...The shit he pulls is what guys pull if a champion is ducking them...Haye is not being ducked but pursued....

Trainers, corner men, managers, promotions, nutritionists, gym space, equipment, transport, insurance amongst a crap load of other things and living expenses and thats just during camp. If he manages to get a couple of grand from hbo and his camp cost about the same then where does he stand.

Understood, I'm not arguing any of that, but my point is still true. Haye's cut on a heavily hyped card (easily billed as the biggest heavyweight fight for a long time) would have exceeded whatever Setanta was going to pay him. Plus he would get a cut of the gate. Is it speculation? Sure, but it's not like HBO is going to pay a few thousand dollars to a fighter they had already spent tens of thousands promoting.

I only saw this man fight twice and the times I saw him fight, I wasn't impressed. He reminded me of Floyd Mayweather without the talent. The heavyweight division is not in great shape but this fighter should be active because the other champions are not chumps like the guy he dethroned reminded me of Primo Carnera without the glass chin and of course heavier. Haye had better remember one thing, he has not arrived and Klitsko is the champ and he is dead weight until he acts like a champion instead of a glorified negotiator. You remember us David, the fans that pay for te pleasure of watching a good fight?

The klits are top of the pile, haye has done more than any of the fat bums in the division to earn a shot. Will he beats the klits who knows, I don't. But I will back him when he does fight them.

I am absolutely amazed that there are people on here that claim to be knowledgeable boxing fans yet seem completely oblivious to the notion of spin.

Any fan of boxing knows the negotiations to huge fights never go smoothly. fighters winding each other up and getting pissed off with each other is part and parcel of the sport and has been going on for years.

Adam Booth giving the whole 'Haye needs a break' is just more spin. Does everyone on this site believe everything they read? It's more mind games, nothing more nothing less. I find it funny, almost as funny as lyle touting kirk johnson.

I personally think Haye vs klit will be announced before the end of next month.
