Always act like she is standing right next to you wheather she is or not. That's what i do in my marrage, I don't do say or act any different than i would want her to when she's out and about. We've been together since she was 15 and married now for over 10 years. Also i've learned it's always better to be happy than right !! You hang with your homies but you sleep with your wife. Congrats bro, even with little bumps in the road here or there married life has been great, i know that's rare but true !!

Well im engaged but i feel like im married in a way because i've known my girl for years, but congrats man your girl should be like your best friend. Be nice and caring to her but not too much because otherwise she will think your doormat, don't be too nasty or uncaring otherwise she will think your an asshole and she will leave you, basically you need to be round about in the middle of those 2 ;)

If you think you want kids, wait a REALLY long time first. Make sure you get everything out of your system you need to get out. My wife and I were married for 10 years before we had our daughter. For the longest time I wasn't interested in having kids- I wanted to go when I wanted to go and do what I wanted to do and a kid sidelines all that. Just think about the mundane things that would totally change. Can't go to the movies- you got the baby. Can't just drop everything and do anything spur of the moment, IF the baby can come, you have to pack a bag and make sure the baby has proper clothes to wear. It's perfectly normal for you to want to be 'selfish' right now. Make sure you enjoy that before you decide to have a kid.
