He may be bulking up too much? could lose a lot of speed.
Haye knows what hes doing.
He has stated many times that he must keep his speed.
I hope so Haye is great entertainment; the heavyweight division needs him.
haha just chatting to him now as it goes!!
he seems as unaware as to Booths whereabouts as anyone!!
trying to sort another interview before Novembers assualt!

He looks right on track i think!Like you mentioned,he knows how to develop as he loves building up greatly on a organic diet!!Keep it up Haye and show htese guys in the heavyweight division who is the new kid on the block!!.Im looking really forward to him fighting!!!
even if he loses a little speed, he'll still be too quick
Never thought he would get much bigger than 16 stone, be interesting to see his first punch land.
Yeah me too and should be getting a private box at the 02 through a mate to go and watch it!!
He said i need to go through Adam Booth to sort an interview but failing that i can just go to the Gym in London after work as he'll be there the week leading up to the fight!
Fingers crossed!
How the hell did he ever get down to 200 pounds
He's a beast
Still don't rate him though :-\
He hasn't got any lats
Oh hang on, his Pecs and Biceps are masking them!?
Jeeez :-\
:( Poor Wlad :(
:D
He has obviously been lifting weights but if he was big anyway, why not just start sparring lots of heavys getting used to their strength and power rather than make himself look bigger.
He will still struggle with a heavys natural core strength and will still be surprised by their power, if he fought either Toney or Rahman he will struggle, Toney has the skill to make him look a novice and Rahman has the strength to put him in his shell, if little Fragomeni can the heavys can.
Rahman didnt take a beating in his last fight, he tried getting a win the easy way but it was turned to a no contest so still holds a high ranking which is why I think Haye will be fighting Hasim still.
Haye still has a little neck and head
I remember from a few years ago you never rated Haye.. but surely since then he must have impressed you a bit by becoming the undisputed cruiser champ? Sparking Mormeck in his backyard was arguably more impressive a win than Calzaghe beating Kessler, considering the circumstances
NO WAY!!
Regardless of where the bouts were held, Joe beat a fighter nearly 10 years younger who had unified belts and was undefeated.
Haye beat someone who was nearly 10 years older and had recently been sparked;D
I thought his win over Enzo meant more than the win over Mormeck
You have to rate Haye he's exciting and will fight anyone! never understand all of the people who discredit fighters for ducking but then hate them for calling opponents out! confusing as hell.
Well.. I did say arguably ;D
Calzaghe-Kessler was a more MEANINGFUL fight, for sure.
But Calzaghe was ALREADY an established proven champion. Losing to Kessler could have been easily explained as a changing of the guard. Time caught up with oldman past his best.
Haye's whole future career was on the line against Mormeck. A loss would have set him back MILES. Would Haye have all the heavyweight hoopla he currently has if Mormeck had beaten him? Of course not.
Calzaghe was the favourite. Haye was the underdog.
Calzaghe had home advantage. Haye was in the other guys backyard.
(Enzo was always gonna be easier for Haye to KO than Mormeck - regardless of age ;))
You guy's are hilarious. OOh AHH Haye looks huge. What does looking good have anything to do in this sport absolutely NOTHING !!!. Remember bodybuilding and boxing are 2 totally different things. Wlad will test the one thing that matters in this sport his jaw. Then we will see if any of that muscle matters.
I don't hate Haye. I am just sick of this guy being built up like he will knock a building down with one punch.
Haye looks good. Im convinced he does well at heavyweight . not cuz I think he is amazingly great or anything but I think his speed and the poor heavyweight division is a good mix
Poor Wlad? Why? Because he won't get the real test he was hoping for?
He looks pretty good. Bodybuilding may have nothing to do with the sport but it will be refreshing to see a heavyweight who actually has some definition. Unfortunately he can't add muscles in his chin, and anyone saying poor Wlad is pretty sadly mistaken. I'm excited to see it happen.
Rahman wouldn't stand anything but a puncher's chance against Haye imo. To fast and Rahman is fighting in slow motion these days.
Haye can be built like he's been chiseled out of stone it doesn't mean he can take what Wlad is bringing to the table.
Audley Harrison looked like he was in shape too ;)
He'll be around 16st flat come fight time. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope he brings some much needed life to the heavys.
Bullshiit
Carl Thopson took everything Haye could throw at him when he was 40.
Chris Eubank, a former middle weight dropped Thompson and held back, he was also outboxing him and ahead on points before the ref pulled him out because of a swollen eye in the 10th of their rematch.
Exactly. Wlad has sparked heavyweights and made it look easy. The cruiserweight division is water thin when compared to the heavies, but apparently Haye has descended from the heavens to deliver us all. Compare Wlad's best opponent against Haye's and reconcile how Haye is the savior of anything in a weight class he's fought in exactly once. Wlad takes shite because he makes it look easy; Haye gets credit for being a natural heavy who sweated down to cruiser to pick off an even easier division.
As a side note: anybody think Haye looks a leeeetle bit like Calvin Brock?
IMO it's stamina rather than the loss of speed will be the problem. Carry more muscle and you won't last as long. The problem will start when an opponent takes his single shots fluch and doesn't blink, he might be able to outbox the cumbersome guys for a few rounds but they'll catch up to him.
His chin doesn't look any stronger?:-\
I'm not getting carried away with Haye -he's got liabilities- but I think he toys with Rahman now, did anybody see Rahman last time, he had absolutely no snap to his punches, not crisp at all, he was just pushing them out there. He looks done.
Put me in the school of thought that Haye needs at all costs to keep his speed, hopefully he's not falling in love with the bodybuilding, to say that he comes off as a vain guy is a bit of an understatement.
