Been lacking a bit in training POB had some rough patches in my life as you know, so i took a bit of a break from boxing. Come back not long ago had my first sparring session in awhile, and had a competitive sparring session, but the problem is i was getting caught more than i should have done, and it got rough and i got buzzed with a few shots.........Quote:

ever even lay off for even a few weeks and you'll feel a considerable difference in your game... give it time... rust comes off in a few days(training and sparring anyway)
Remember one thing when you spar.... Seriously... Reset if you're uncomfortable... It's not a fight! I had to tell myself that weekly... "It's not a fight"

There was allways a rumour on that fight,that maybe they should have checked Dempseys gloves a little closer

Yeah it was when Willards knees just inched off the matt in the third KD... It was just thrown at a weird angle to get under his chin... Did look strange and clublike though

Theres a reason the promoter picks the gloves,and theyre checked before the fighter gets them

I alway wince when I see the guys get up early who should have taken a few more seconds...lol they are usually back on the ground shortly after getting up. I saw one fight where a guy was knocked out , but saved by the bell, and the corner dragged his ass to the corner to try and revive him...crazy fuckers back then.
