I stıll say ıt was George Foreman's 2nd knockdown of Joe Frazier ın theır fırst fıght ın Kıngston. It was about 2:30 seconds ınto Round 1. It was an uppercut, a sıngle uppercut that I really wonder how many ordınary people ıt would have serıously kılled. How Frazıer even stayed conscıous after that shot, let alone get up and fıght on, ıs stıll beyond me to thıs day.
The shot that Lewis hit Rahman with sounded like someone driving an axe through a basketball. Love that sound.
Tyson's shots sounded like that too.
Julian Jackson on Herrol Graham.... it was a sickening punch.
The other one I can remember was the shot Dereck Jefferson laid on Maurice Harris- the ko punch. Mouth-piece went flying in the opposite direction of the punch.
It was really sad to see Harris nearly decapitated..

The 'punch' that they landed on Cassius Clay in April 1967.
It put the guy out for nearly 3 1/2 years.
For me the single hardest shot I ever saw was the right hand from Shavers that put Holmes on the ground. I still don't know how Larry got up, and then to go on and win the fight was even more amazing.
Some honorable mention shots:
1) Roy's body shot stoppage of Virgil Hill. Cracked vertebrae!!!
2) Manny's ko shot on Hatton. Sounded like a shotgun blast and ruined Hattons career.
3) Sergio Martinez ko of Paul Williams. Pretty much the same as Manny's ko of Hatton.
4) Sam Peter destroying Jeremy Williams
5) Lennox first big right in Ruddock.
6) Douglas uppercut of Tyson
Maybe it was Hatton's chin not being up to it towards the end, but that knockout against Pac was one of the worst things I have seen in boxing. Out cold for minutes. Maybe Martinez against Williams too.

1) Roy's left hook on Griffin.
2) Roy's left hook of Thomas Tate.
3) Foreman's ko of Moorer.
4) Hearns right hand on Cuevas.
5) G-Man ko of Julian Jackson where he sent Jackson sliding out of the ring.
Nunn knocking out Kalambay and McCallum knocking out Curry were unique in the sense that they were not known for their 1 punck KO and never did it again in their career.
Also Holmes chin must be something because he got knocked down hard with Tyson's right cross as well.

Considering the power and the size of the man throwing the punch... probably Sam Peters/Jeremy Williams.

Worst I saw live was GGG body shot to Macklin. Poor guy was surrounded by medical staff for quite some time. Many of you know the sounds of those punches when you are sitting in decent seats. I thought Matty might have bought the farm.

Eubank's uppercut that flattened Watson in their second fight was a sickening punch.
Good call, I re watched that recently, savage savage fight. Watson should definitely not have been allowed out for the 12th round, he needed help! The damage may already have been done, it might have been mostly the result of that one punch, but coming out to take more punishment must have still made a big difference in what they were able to do for him immediately.Quote:

That last one reminds me... It's always odd that when a orthodox fighter throws a left hand when their feet are out of position (temporarily southpaw) it is usually (and peculiarly) quite devastating.
I can recall both David Haye and Shane Mosley having the same luck. Probably loads more.

Vitali's right cross on Lennox was a shockingly hard punch I was very surprised Lennox stayed up.
