Pretty bad when a person runs for the highest office in the land and leaves no footprint, no lasting impression other than he was the V.P.
By the time Dems were advancing ERA and women's rights--it turned IMO more from women's rights to dyke rights. Lesbianic...(I<--- like that word) issues took the front and women in general took the back seat.
Mondale had nothing to separate himself from in terms of the rest of the Democrats.
Foreign affairs- I think he flipped on Vietnam. He was for it under Johnson, then against it under Nixon.
Dukakis to me was the dude who beat out Gore and Rev Jesse Jackson..to show how much talent the Dems had to choose from

Clinton's biggest issue to me was Mena Arkansas base- Revealed to have had drug runs used there. Clinton claimed he had no clue and it was a federal issue.
It was CIA ran, so why did this issue die? Had Republicans went after this the way they would end up going after Paula Jones & Monica Lewinsky- Clinton would have been forced out as Governor-thus never making it to the white house. Word had it-Clinton would drop dime on Repub's involved, so it died right there
- Hillary & Bill both were questioned on their business dealings, once again they would not be implicated- did they have dime dropping capabilities?
Clinton IMO won the POTUS because the Republican Party got high jacked by High-strung Neo-cons posing as Compassionate Conservatives which polarized various demographics with a divisive message.
IMO- Clinton won the 1992 presidency because Neocons alienated way too many demographics
America as a whole was embarrassed as hell. Knowing all the criminal shit Clinton was accused of ; went unpunished-- Yet when he was brought to justice it was over some head...in the Oval Office.
The Government was shut down under his presidency.

If someone tried to regulate, pass a law claiming injustice be it at work or personal liberty- these big wheels would finance candidates that spoke against regulation or issues of injustice- to which this new vehicle of communication called the media would echo it

The young voters that packed the house in 2008 seemed disillusioned, disinterested and plain hurt at the way they see government working. IMO: They seem to view Republicans as disconnected and view Obama as incapable at minimum and incompetent at worst. Hillary is connected to that -if the young have no way to get their news other than Fox (right)or CNN (left).
So once again I have a HUGE problem- I cant seem to talk positive about either party- these posts shows whatever I am... I am consistent with it.

Hillary Big K; is a political chameleon.
She IMO is the consummate lying politician.
On NAFTA? Her memoirs stated NAFTA would expand U.S. exports, create jobs and ensure that we were reaping the benefits. Around 2003 She replied, "I think that we have to enforce the trade rules that are inherent" in NAFTA.
Today, Clinton says "NAFTA has not lived up to its promises."
I also like how she once stated she waived a "yellow" flag. CBS has even done a piece called Hillary's NAFTA lies.
Her statement that she was under the cover of gunfire is now laughable. It showed how insincere she is as a person which adds on to her legion of haters she has rightfully earned. But she has supporters. How else did she win senator time again?
It seems the more Conservative pundits talk about her- the higher her approval rating goes.
And as far as being under her rule? I am of the mindset that there isn't a potus who has rule. They are ruled by someone else. Walker, Rubio, Bush and maybe even Rand Paul.. none of these individuals have an agenda of their own.
Lobbyists will descend up the nation and work over the senators and House Rep on what KIND of bills need to come outta the senate and make it to Congress.

@ Grey-Technically I am still in training- my trainer took his 34 reset- I have 18 more hours to go. In retrospect its kind of funny you got so mad but I do apologize for upsetting you, it wasn't my intent. I do have to say your critiques lay more against the repubs than the dems. I was just surprised about you not voting. I brought up my war time but in reality it's the big picture I was looking at. Wars going back to the American Revolution getting us the right to vote. The constitution is a beautiful thing. I'm always disappointed when the voting turn out is less than half the country. It baffles me. Having said that our freedom comes with the right not to vote. So when I mentioned my war time service it was actually a reflection of all war time service. I read and watch quite a bit of politics but currently I'm on a world political kick. The world is an interesting place. I have been reading mainly on the politics of the middle east and Africa. Africa got some scary stuff going on. One article I read was called Jahadafrica due to the large amount of radical Islam popping up over the continent.
So although I'm disillusioned with the US political process, I may be a closet conservative leaning more towards libertarian at this point, I will find someone to vote for, as all Americans should, I got me a purple heart bitches.:thankyouthankyou:
