Frampton
Quigg
Smith

I would say it's a bit of a toss up, but I'd go for Selby.
This time next year, the best Champ in Britain will be someone who isn't even on that list.........Callum Smith!

Opinions versus fact.
Opinions are like assholes everyones got one.
Fact is, Fury is the only fighter that is universally recognised as the best in his division and beat the best to get there.
-
Re: Who is the best and worst of britains 12 world champions?
Yeah it's about opinions. The question asked - who is the best and worst? We can't prove Fury is a better fighter than Lee Haskins, just that on paper he beat a more famous champion.
Fury is THE man in his division, it doesn't mean he's unbeatable or even the best fighter.
Brook, DeGale, Frampton, Quigg and Selby all operate in far, far tougher divisons than the heavyweight one.

In his division he is the best fighter!!;D He beat and unbeatable top ten all time great in his home town easy. Tyson is easily the best fighter in Britain hard to swallow as it is for you!
Do any of the others really stand a chance at beating the best in their divisions?
The fighters you mentioned may fight in more competative divisions but have they beaten the best n their division? Are they capable of it? De Gale was lucky to get past Bute! Does Brook really stand a chance against Pacquiao? Frampton amd Quigg would beat Rigo???

I can't stand DeGale, but he's more than capable of beating Badou Jack, who else is there that he wouldn't be favoured against? And why can't Brook beat Pacquiao? He might lose to Thurman, Bradley or Spence, but he could beat Pac.

Exactly.
Bute/Dirrell are superior boxers to Wlad. Quigg and Frampton are in a division with Rigo and Donaire. Superior boxers to Wlad. Brook doesn't just have Pac but also Bradley, Thurman, Porter, Khan, Spence etc, all superior boxers to Wlad. Lee Selby has Loma, Russell jr, Santa Cruz etc.
Most of these guys are in or around the P4P top ten. Neither Fury or any other heavyweight is. (check The RING mag)
Tyson is the best fighter in the UK in your OPINION not mine. Tyson isn't even the best heavyweight in my opinion.

Frampton
Quigg

Brook

Your opinion is shit then. Who did you thnk was the best before Wlad v Fury?
To become the best you have to beat the best.
Also, they may be able t beat them but until they do they havent and therefe cant claim to be the best in their division like Tyson can.
You mugs!

Re: Who is the best and worst of britains 12 world champions?
How many times do I have to say Tyson is THE man of the division. The head of it. That is not in dispute.
It has absolutely no bearing whatsover on whether he is a better fighter than any of the other Brit champs. They are in different divisions.
He won a boring fight against a boring champion in a weak division. I never rated Wlad so why would I start now? I always said he benefited from having Vitali as a tag team partner. And I always said Vitali would beat him. Wlad only became THE man when Vitali retired. Therefore all this "10 year reign" shit is really just three years.
Toby.

crolla is above saunders yet crolla has lost to some less than amazing fighters where as saunders has looked pretty good, at least beating all the best british fights and generally quite comfortably
Selby is above brook yet Selby hasn't really beaten a fighter in his division as highly regarded as the fighter brook beat for the world title
Frampton is above quigg and quigg just beat a fighter in 2 rounds that Frampton has been 22 rounds with
and fury is in 6th, yet fury is the only fighter considered "the man" in his division, easily beating a long standing 10 year champion lb4lb ATG top 10 in his own back yard
ha ha ahaahha ah haa hah aha h a ;D

Lee Haskins is possibly the greatest P4p fighter of all time not really fair to have him on the list.

No he wasnt the greatest but for a brief moment like when Douglas beat Tyson he was the recognised best and lineal heavyweight champ of the world you mug.
I get embarassed reading some of the crap you come out with. Anyone new to this forum will think your as thick as fuck.

Doesnt matter which way you look at it. Fury is the only one to prove himself against the best in his division.
Would Brook beat Pacquiao? Probably not and until he does hes not better than Fury.
De Gale would not beat Ward who has moved up but only recently. He barely scraped past Bute!!

"No he wasnt the greatest but for a brief moment like when Douglas beat Tyson he was the recognised best and lineal heavyweight champ of the world you mug."
Ok, and the difference between those 2 fights above and Fury v Wlad AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME is?
Not "after his next fight" or "if he does this" or "when he does that".
Yet you say "DeGale hasn't done this and Brook hasn't done that." YOU MUG HYPOCRITE! 😂😂

Ok, and the difference between those 2 fights above and Fury v Wlad AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME is?
Not "after his next fight" or "if he does this" or "when he does that".

You show me up!!
Id suggest that those who are PM ing you are just as thick as yourself and are too gutless to even say whatever your little scaredy cat messages supporting each other against big scarey Ross in the open:rolleyes:
If your too thck to realise, Fury wasnt a massive underdog like Spinks and Douglas and Wlad didnt come in under prepared or fat. Those who know what they are talking about knew Tyson was going to win or at least give Wlad lots of major problems hence why the fight had so much interest. He tried every trick in the book to get the upper hand but failed because Tyson is too good.
