Default Having A Few Problems Regarding Gaining Muscle.

I started doing weight-training on and off when i was 17, and im 19 now i put on 20+ pounds. Im currently 165 pounds at the moemt and im 6'1 and half. It was going good but now i've hit a bit of snag.

I can't seem to put on anymore weight despite doing all the correct, exercises for building muscle like Squats, Benching Pressing, Dead Lifts, ETC. Im not sure what i should do, should i up the weights ? or should i up the calories ?

It is pretty hard for me to put on weight because im naturally lean, so i burn off calories really quickly. But any ideas/tips would be appreciated guys/girls cheers.

Not sure why you'd want to put on more weight. You are right at middleweight now for ams 75kg (165lbs), and next step up is light heavy at 178 or so.

Guys going to be banging a lot harder there...and that is quite a bit to add. I'd likely just be concerned more with strengthening and trying to stay there.

Like youngblood said, it depends on your goals. Wes'll know a hell of a lot more than me about body building.

If it's general strength you're after then uping the weights of the squats will help. If you don't up the load you're just keeping what you already have. You need to push yourself out your comfort zone, but of course always be wary where it'll fit in with your boxing, in terms of muscle soreness and training the next day in particular.

Did u read the links i sent and if so did they help ??

Basically you need to lift heavy (one of the programs in the link i sent will work great) and eat 5 or 6 meals per day with lots of carbs, protein good fats and fiber.

I need more info if you want me to help. For example: Whats your workout like?? Whats your post workout nutrition like?? Whats your diet consist of?? Etc
