Default What have you used for muscle pain?

I get pretty bad sore back from working at a desk.. obviously I use over the counter pain killers a lot of the time.. Actually was munching 4 of them every day at one stage for back pain...

I also like to use liniment "deep heat" type creams that make your muscle's/skin really hot, but they totally stink and get all over your clothes, and I totally reek out the whole office so I can't really apply that at work.. I've tried an anti-inflammatory cream which cost $35 for a small tube and don't think it did shit....

But on the weekend I ordered these "chilli plasters" from a herbal medicine website and they got here today. I've never heard of such things before and they are not for sale in any regular stores that i've been in.. But i've applied 2 and they are freakin awesome! They feel like a really hot chinese burn or like someone has rubbed your skin with their palm really fast for like 5 minutes... It's awesome and they've taken away all the pain of my back..

They use the same technology (if you can call it that) that is used in pepper spray, which absorbs into your skin and makes it really hot...

They are just these little 2 inch by 2 inch thin rubbery sheets that you apply to your skin that last THREE DAYS and here is the big kicker, they cost like 8 cents each.. Less in US cents :-)
    I bought a 200 pack of them for $18

NOTHING they sell in regular stores compares to these things.. And for the price I don't know why every store in the world doesn't sell them...

If you ever suffer any muscle pains, sore back, knots, joint pain, get these f'n things!

BUT, I was wondering what other people use for such ailments?

here is the website for the plasters.. The prices are strange at the bottom because my box came with 200 for less than the price of those... but anyway, look them up at your local online store..

Mate, all you're doing is masking the problem!

Even if it's just standing for 30 seconds, walking to the cooler or something... try not to sit still for more than 20 minutes.

Really it all comes down to sitting in a good, supported position with correct posture. If you're slouched forward all the time you'll develop tight front muscles and weak, stretched back muscles, it would pay to try and strengthen them, other wise you'll just get caught in a circle.

If you're in any position for an extended time, your muscles will adapt to it. :-/

I recommend opium. That'll be $32.50. For the advice that is, the opium is significantly cheaper.
