I'm watching a doco. on it at the moment.. Some experts swear that no human could make them.... But they are about to put these "expert" crop circle makers to the test to see if they can repeat this really complex one..

I think it's similar to why people do graffiti with the added lure of the fact that you get to see how far you can push people... getting them to create myths and buy into conspiracies etc.

...and who knows what else... does the Tourism industry benefit when it happens? maybe far fetched but that could be a reason? I'm sure if we sat and thought about it we could come up with loads.
