Default There was never any negotiations

    Official Team Mayweather Statement

“Here are the facts. Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer and myself speak to each other on a regular basis and the truth is no negotiations have ever taken place nor was there ever a deal agreed upon by Team Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao on November 13. Either Ross Greenburg or Bob Arum is not telling the truth, but history tells us who is lying.”

    –Leonard Ellerbe, Advisor, Floyd Mayweather

I just read about this too on ESPN and they have some comments from Arum too. I'm sick of hearing about these "negotiations". I really don't know who to believe, both Arum and Ellerbe are not the most trustworthy guys in my opinion. Here are Arum's comments to it all.

This is like absurd unreality," Arum said when reached at his Los Angeles vacation home. "I'm not going to be party to this [expletive]. When I heard about [the statement] I thought it was a joke. Ross said he was talking to Haymon. He certainly wasn't making it up. And Haymon was relaying conversations to Ross allegedly that Floyd had with him. At least that is what Ross says."

"If there is no negotiation, who imposed the gag order," Arum said. "Why they're doing this is absurd. What is motivating them to put something like this out? I'm not going to speculate but what are they doing? Schaefer said there was a gag order. Who could there be a gag order from if there were no negotiations? From the sky?

"What they said was absurd, but why did they say this? They could say a lot of other things. My feeling is that this is rapidly becoming one of the most bizarre things ever."

Mayweather camp has not been so silent like that ever since. They have the biggest mouth in boxing and the last few weeks they have been on mute.

And now they tell everyone there's no negotiations?

Why not they just fight on the ring, have money and make people happy about it.
This mega fight is beginning to stink big time

what?! You can't be serious with Pac being "scared" and what is that about not being able to afford another "0"?!

Just took a look at the article. I don't know but Schaffer and Ellerbe rub me the wrong way. I know Arum is a snake too being that he's a promoter as well but I feel like Golden Boy and Team Mayweather aren't handling the situation well at all. Pac's team has gone COMPLETELY public with their submission to Floyd's demands. Were they just not paying attention? And De La Hoya's interview, talk about not being on the same page...

Well... who is stupid enough to believe that BS? If there were even an ounce of truth they would have denied talks from the start instead of doing the same shit he always does and make his opponent wait. Obviously Mayweather is not ready to make the fight in November. His team should just come out and say it, instead of throwing crap like that. Is it so freaking shameful?
