I was once married to someone who resembled a hippo, does that count as my exotic pet

If it's yellow, let it mellow... If it's brown, invite me 'round...

Inbreeding is always a problem with some exotic dogs.

For example, most of the dogs in Korea are inbred.

    Like in sandwiches, though.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

What's the difference between a hippo and a zippo?

One is really heavy, and one is a little lighter

    You'll all be using it

imp, it's that kind of thought process which leads to people banning salt, large sodas, and trans fats. The idea that "people are too stupid to handle freedom and liberty" (which is always implied even in this case) is dangerously idiotic. Would I WANT to live where people own lions and tigers that could potentially break out and harm myself, my family, my dog....no....but again there are laws in the US about what type of dog breeds you can have, insurance companies WILL NOT sell you homeowners insurance if you have a certain kind of dog. And hell most people who live to become adults aren't able to house or pay for exotic pets like Lions and Hyenas...however if they ARE able to and they are responsible with said pets what business is it of mine if they want to own those animals?

I believe the English are in dire need of a lesson on LIBERTY. If it doesn't affect you, your happiness, your pursuit of a better life for yourself, the safety of your family (which in this case, could be debated but only in terms of safety for the animal and security for those living nearby rather than an outright ban) then you should just let it go. Let people do what makes them happy so long as it doesn't detract from your natural rights....what is so difficult about that?
You believe "the English are in dire need of a lesson in Liberty?" ha! Fucking hell you couldn't make it up. You are seriously equating banning owning a wild lion with banning salt?

There are loads of deer where we live. Last week my wife hit one with the passenger side bumper and she has just hit another one on the driver's side.

Good job the car is bambidextrous

I have to completely agree with @Beanz on this one.

There is too much of the wrong kind of freedom in the United States and not enough of the right kind of freedom. I will just give three examples based on my living abroad for a total of 11 and 1/2 years out of my 54 year life. That is a pretty big chunk of time to be living in foreign countries and I can tell you the following things are what make me sick about America:

In most any other country you can rake up some leaves or some sticks or some paper and non-toxic stuff and out by your curb by the driveway or even in your yard you can simply light it on fire and burn it. That seems to me to be a pretty reasonable right or freedom for someone to have in their own yard. However if you try to do that in the United States you will be arrested in 30 seconds.

I will use beer as another example as beans knows I really love beer and actually I am still waiting for him to invite me to Exeter so we can have some of those nice sales which afterwards would help us to speak with the Pixies dwarves elves and leprechauns. In turkey and in Malaysia which are both Muslim countries for crying out loud you can still drink a beer in a park a public park. Try to get your heads around that one. However if you try to drink a beer in a public park in the United States you will be arrested in 30 seconds

I'd outlaw retractable leashes to be honest. Hate those damn things. Most defective means of handling a dag. Train owners.
