That's why, even though it wouldnt have been that great, I would have liked to see Valuev in there with a Klitschko...
    Ah well.
Wlad has beaten at LEAST 2 guys bigger than himself, that's probably about the same as Lennox Lewis.

And I can't say this enough WLADIMIR is better than Vitali
I wish we could see Klitschko vs. Klitschko in their primes, too.

But I'd like to add, and I can't say this enough, either, LOL. I intended this thread to be about where the Klits would rank in the list of ATG's based on their ability to win against the other ATG's in their primes in a fair boxing contest. Not based on their size, not based on whether they bore you or not, not based on how good you think their competition is or was, not based on their hair colour.

Just based on who would beat whom in a fair boxing contest.

I already answered this in your other thread, but here's another list.

    Lennox Lewis
    Muhammad Ali
    Larry Holmes
    Ike Ibeabuchi
    Prime Tim Witherspoon
    Prime Riddick Bowe
    Mike Tyson
Prime Buster Douglas the one vs Mike Tyson
    George Foreman
    Evander Holyfield

Thats a quick list, but theres possibly a few more forgotten Heavyweights. Like Tony Tucker that would stand a good chance.

I am sorry, sir. I didn't make myself very clear. My apology. I meant the 2 questions I asked of Paddy 448, as follows:

    1. I would love to see Wlad or Vitali fight Ali, toe to toe in their prime. Wouldn't you?

    2. Would you bet the farm on either fighter?

Actually, I would like to hear other posters answer those questions, as well.

I personally think every fight fan on earth would want to see that match, and probably every little old lady, high school kid and college professor, too.

    2. And let me ask you this. Would you bet the farm on either fighter?
A prime Muhammad Ali in the 60's ? yes i would bet my life savings on him beating both brothers.

Yes, I would love to see them fight Ali, to watch both get brutally knocked out and yes, I would bet my place, furniture, dog and my set of nuts that Ali slaps them both around like Jersey Strippers.

Gee, I thought everyone knew what "going toe to toe" meant. To me it means something like "having a fight face to face or head to head" both fighters in the same ring at the same time under the same ref and same rules. Seems like all of Wlad's fights have been that way, whether he won or lost, or bored the pants off the audience.
Actually what toe to toe means is like Gatti/Ward or Margarito/Williams... It's fighting in a phone booth where neither man is backing up or using movement. But I knew what you meant.
OK, fair is fair. It's embarrassing, but I guess I will have to admit you are right, LOL. Yeah, toe to toe is fighting in a phone booth. Thanks for the correction.

What you said is true. I don't remember either Klit ever having to fight in a phone booth or toe to toe. They can usually keep their opponents at bay until they KO them.

Yeah, Wlad's style is extremely boring but effective. He controls the action without puting himself in danger. That's why many people dislike him. Wlad/Thompson comes to mind. Boxing IS a game of hit and not getting hit but people like a show and Wlad tends to not do that.

Until now I was unaware that Jersey strippers were slapped around so often

I guess I don't have to feel so bad about last nights events

Nah, they're used to it... Careful, though. Some care blades. Don't get yourself cut, Daxx.

LOL, these guys are just doing their job. Why do you want to see them "brutally knocked out"? You got something against them?

Oh, of course and yes, kind of. What I have against them is they have a strangle hold on the division. Imagine they weren't brothers and you just had two guys that were champions that said"We're never going to fight eachother." It'd piss you off. You saw my unbias oppinions on them above. I have the utmost respect for them but if someone came along and shelled them it wouldn't bother me.

But, but, but....Boston, I don't think you answered my first question. Why do you want to see these brothers "brutally knocked out"? Because they won't fight each other? Because you like to see brutal knock-outs and it might as well be the Klits? Why? I'm curious to know.

Probably so he doesn't have to read threads on how they're the the biggest, strongest, most athletic heavyweight boxers of all-time.

...Yup. I'm done with this thread. Wlad smashed that chick from Heros. He gets most of my respect from that. That is all.
