If he pulls straight back out like he puzzingly did against Mayweather I see him getting caught right on the end of Canelo's punches. If he tries to outbox/punch him I see the same thing happening except he tires and gets pummeled into submission. Either way it would be an interesting fight.
Cotto doesn't have the chin to hang with Canelo.
