We don't care about the Queen, she's nice and all but that's YOUR deal, we don't do that, we don't care about Princess Di or the horse she married or the other inbred monsters that have been hatched over the decades...we simply don't care.
My girlfriend cares and she's American. She had me DVR the Royal Wedding (8 hours long). If you don't care for it then ignore it, but to speak with such disdain actually is giving it the very attention that you say you despise. I'm not too much interested in it, but I respect it's historical relevance. I just think media hijacks it a bit.
