Roy Jones 19-0

1992 stomps out 2015, GGG included. Parks & Lamar from 1992 beats Lee & Murray. RJJ & JT beats everyone ranked. GGG probably stops JJ in a barnburner. Gman vs GGG FOTY candidate. Kalambay vs Cotto great matchup. Hopkins beats Taylor without controversy.

2015 has some good fighters, but no way in hell does 22 plus years of nutrition and conditioning coaches make a not-a-damn-F'n-difference for the MW's of today.

1992's MW's here? Don't need no stinkin' nutrition Ariza protein-vita-vegimin-roid-milkshake. 1992 beats 2015 MW's because they are just better.

Hands down.
Fun post. When did did RJJ move up in weight? Was this just after he beat Hopkins? Fought Hop in 93 @ MW, then moved to SMW in 94.

It's a bummer that with that deep of a division in 1992 that we didn't see more match-ups of top guys. Am I right?
Agrreed. JT was already having issues making MW by 92, even though he won it in 91. quietly taking on the names of Reggie Johnson, MiKe McCallum & Michael Nunn oh & Merqui Sosa- check this out...JT did this in one 1/2 years!!! The belt he relinquished is what Hop & RJJ fought for (vacant). JT in 2 fights took on Doug Dewitt & Iran Barkley-truley a throwback fighter (a word not overused or incorrectly used! LOL!

& Julian Jackson @ the time was having medical issues -his eye I think & he was really a Jr. Middle who ran into Gman who weighed as much as a SMW when he fought Jackson. There was some good matchups back then- they just didnt have the PPV hyped- they did their work on the undercards and 1/2 empty arenas.
