@Beanflicker - i happen to disagree with you about this. Ward is arguably better than anyone Calzaghe, Hatton, or Naseem, had to face when they were in their prime in their divisions. Also, Froch already lost to him by a pretty wide decision. Maybe you disagree, but I don't think that fight was close. And he lost to Kessler in their first fight so he would have to beat Kessler in a third fight to legitimately claim to be the better man between the two of them. Froch has to settle for being the second or third best super middleweight of his day. It is what it is. However, a win over GGG wouldn't be a bad note to end his career on.
And for Ward, I'd prefer to see him move up a division after he has dominated super middleweight. Ward is fighting closer to the light heavyweight division than the super middleweight division in his next fight. A bigger fight than Froch for Ward is Kovalev. Ward already beat Froch - why does he need to do it again? The only fight at super middleweight that I'd like to see Ward take is DeGale.
