You took that even more personally than I did when you called me a conservative a couple weeks ago.
I drove truck for a bit in 08 before my health sidelined me. I took my last 34 hour reset in Grand Junction.

Oh, heck ya, I did!
1. I've never heard of anyone ever being offended being called: conservative. Those who use it -take ultimate pride in the word.
2. I don't remember calling you that- but I take your word for it- It was NOT meant as an insult. Rather it dealt with the topic at hand- if need be & you don't consider yourself one: I apologize.
3. How can I not be insulted by someone who called me a closet liberal for: REFUSING to vote PERIOD? That is ridiculous.
4. How would/should one respond when after being called such-with a caveat of they fought in a war- winning a Purple Heart- what does that have to do with ANYTHING? Teach me, please!? Then end with profanity? as in DAMMIT!?
5. Coming from a poster that you knew--I mean KNEW you could copy their every thought on politics to prove your point- they don't call out both parties.

Again if you took offense to me calling you a conservative- I have no issues reading what you wrote-
That I could thenb place myself in that timeframe- and explain why I called you that.

Surely you and I can agree on this:LMost people who call themselves conservatives love the word, while few on this board call themselves...liberals... with pride. Let alone a closet liberal.
