Decriminalized not legalized... It's still against the law but only civil charges will be asessed rather then a criminal charge...

I voted for the decriminalization of weed, to keep the income tax(cuz mad shit would get cut without it) and to keep the dog parks but that got shot down...

so basically you can have weed on you and worry a bit less.. hahah....

Well yes... Like before if you got caught with a quarter and were over 18, bang... you now have a criminal record which could hamper your ability to get a good job or get into the school you want...

With decriminalization what happens is you basically get asessed fines that you pay like a speeding ticket but it doesn't go on your record... Hence the de[criminal]ization... You are nolonger seen as a criminal in the eyes of the law...
