Kosta a was a good fighter, but in truth lacks the names on his resume, his best win is against Judah. Chavez and Gonzalez were old men, most of his defences were againsts nobodys and he was beat by two fighters who have been beaton more than once, I think Kosta was a good champion a great? Not for me.
The big names tended to dodge him, if a guy who is in the top 2 ever at a weight division isnt great then i dunno who is. 18 title fights in 32 fights for 2 losses, and a unified division. if that isnt knocking on the door of greatness then u cant think many guys at all are great.
He might be knocking on the door, but he's not getting in.

Tszyu twice had fights lined up with big names in De La Hoya & Mayweather, in both cases with preliminary deals already in place. What happened both times? He lost fights & those opportunities disappeared.

Like Skel, beyond Judah what other prime names does he have. He's a very good fighter, but the fact is with welterweight historically being where the money is, others like Wilfred Benitez, ODLH, Mayweather, Duran, Mosley have all either passed through or simply bypassed the division to get where the money is a bit better.
