I don't think you really need to go to school to know how to use your tenses etc, we all learn a language without direct instruction. But to be nearly 30 and saying something that is clearly quite weird is wrong. It also bugs me when you have people from the UK confusing there/their. I understand that we have localised slang language, but that isn't slang, it is simply using a word in an incorrect form. There is just no excuse for such basic errors. It is a sign of societal decay.
Everybody goes to school so there is no excuse for not learning to use language appropriately. I had to do it, you had to do it and David Haye should have done it. He is surrounded by language every day, there is no excuse for not getting it right. Wlad should knock him out and then give him a grammar lesson whilst the referee is counting, it would likely be the same amount of attention that Haye gave whilst at school.
