Benefits should be for tiding you over whilst you look for work. 70 quid a week on weed is not reeducating yourself or looking for work. The dodgy knee just sounds like an excuse too. My wife once had ankle surgery, she was back at work in weeks. It just sounds like an excuse to never earn an honest living.

I believe that the population of the Isle of Wight should be moved to the mainland and the entire lot of these people be shipped over there to fend for themselves, or mutilate each other or whatever it is they want to do. Maybe even let them set up their own chav government. But get them away from England, which at its core is a decent place. Reduce the population by 20% and you have a lovely place. Send the bankers to the Isle of Wight too.

Didn't Hitler want to do something similar with the Jews? Who owns Madagascar now anyway?

Well, I would rather they exterminate themselves than have me do it. And no way would Hitler allow a Jewish government.

My main problem with that theory is that if you're putting them onto an island with no resources you're drawing out their pain, and they will survive in a very basic way for weeks, maybe even months, but it would still be a death sentence if you're preventing them from swimming back to the mainland.

If we are going to kill them, at least make it quick and don't pretend that it wasn't us that pulled the trigger by putting them on such an island.

How about sending them to the moon with oxygen tanks and a huge pipe sending up bags of monster munch? Harmless enough, we could simply stop giving aid to Pakistan and use the money for the crisps and equipment. Problem solved. Clearly they would have to build their own houses as there is no council housing on the moon.
