I find the link a bit absurd to be honest. Man on benefits kills a hamster, he must lose his benefits.

As for the £70 a week on weed. The government give you what you need to live on. If he gets 800 a month and manages to budget well enough to spend £70 quid on weed then fair play to him.

Nothing wrong with benefits, but to find that someone is using a quarter of their taxpayer funded money on illegally purchased drugs is quite disgusting. People pay a lot of tax in the UK and I think anyone who pays tax should be annoyed by this guy. He has a dodgy knee, so has disability allowance too? Fix it and get a job, you just know this guy has been milking it and refuses to work like many, many others. This case has outed him and he should be made to pay.

I have no beef with you receiving allowance because your situation was serious and has left you somewhat depleted. But furthermore, you don't appear to be murdering hamsters. The guy is a lowlife and like too many in that country needs to motivate himself to stop smoking weed everyday and get a paying job.

The UK angers me because it is a place that rewards manipulation from top to bottom and yet who pays for it all, the millions who honestly stick to their work and pay their taxes. Those people are being seriously fobbed off.

I live in a society where I pay 4% income tax and I know for a fact potheads aren't taking a cut, teenage mums aren't getting housing from it, I know there isn't enough to go round to the banks. It has been suggested that I have become Asian, but that isn't quite true. But I have turned my back on the horror that is the UK.

I don't even live there and stories like this annoy me. I am surprised there hasn't been full blown revolution. I would have a heart attack reading this and knowing that a third of my income is being taken away for lost causes each month.
