Lennox is definitely in the top 10 greatest heavyweights, whether he is in the top 5 can be debated but he is in the top 10. Not fighting Ruiz and Byrd should not be used against him at all. He was his career heaviest against Vitali, who put up a great fight, but that damage was cause by Lewis and he retired at the right time after that fight.

Thanks for the vid Brock. That 12 punch combo was where Mavrovic made his big mistake. I think Lewis was mainly concentrated on who he was going to screw that night and the combo woke him up. Big mistake by Mav. Did you see what Lewis replied with at 3:17? That little poke under Mav's heart nearly turned him inside out. And that right nearly decapitated him.

he was fucking good. his ko's of rahman ( his hardest punch ever) and tyson were awesome he could box and hit hard. vitali was giving him all kinds of hell, but it was starting to look like lewis was coming on after he cut vitali bad with that badass punch.

However, having said that, Mav didn't go down. I shouldn't bring Helenius into this picture because the thread's about Lewis, but here it is. I think Helenius would have put him down with the same two punches.

Ali will always be considered most peoples best ever HW because of his mouth and what he did and represented outside of the ring, that will never be done again, there will never be another Ali

the period Ali fought in is seen as a golden period but in reality it was over hyped because of Ali
