I like Ortiz and think he is a nice enough guy, but when he tries to talk tough it does sound a bit phoney. His natural inclination is to be nice and smile a lot, so his tough guy act does seem to be a bit forced.

I just hope he is able to put up a good showing, but he is a somewhat handpicked comeback opponent for Mayweather. One fair showing where you are put down and nearly out of it doesn't suggest a recipe for greatness or beating Mayweather, but I hope he surprises us and wins a few rounds and goes the distance.

If Mayweather retires again after this I will not be impressed, it will probe once and for all that his sporadic returns are simply about deceiving the public. I hope to be proven wrong in that regard.
