There is such a thing as a time and a place you know.

Saying things on an anonymous forum is wholly different from getting in the face of an elderly television presenter and telling him he ain't shit.

Just try and picture this happening out of a boxing context.

Let's imagine Colin Farrell saying it to Kirk Douglas? Or Audley Harrison saying it to Bruce Forysthe on the next Strictly Come Dancing?

It would be career suicide and the media would have a field day with it.

Mayweather routinely behaves in outrageous ways and if anything is encouraged to do so to hype his persona.
