Would have loved to see Bruno v either Klit, he is able to KO both of them but they would try and take it to the later rounds to beat and stop him. Bruno jab and power would make Wlad ultra cautious. Vitali would take the bombs but not for too long. Ruddock was one dimensional puncher, Shavers hardest puncher ever but also one dimensional. Norton was good once he got going but doubt either Klit would allow him to do that.

You know what I honestly think Frank smokes Wlad. I really do

Against Vitali am not so sure, he either stops him via one punch KO or fades in latter rounds to be TKO'ed

I think Vitali Klitschko is very overrated.

Shavers and Norton would get smoked by a lot of the top crop.

Why does Shavers get so much credit? Sure he punched harder than fuck, but he had a suspect chin, heart and cardio.

Because he had some good performances, he almost stopped Larry Holmes. Could of won a decision vs Muhammad Ali, and stopped Ken Norton, Jimmy Young, both very good fighters.

I really don't see how any of the fighters listed would be title holders or champions now. Shavers could be cruiserweight champ, but his cardio and chin were so poor.

Ken Norton would get blasted by Vitali and he would do well vs Wlad because although Norton was strong and he used that strength vs Ali and Holmes, Wlad is just as strong if not stronger and has been known to bully his opponents into range.

The other guys were just not as consistent.

Ron Lyle may have had a shot vs a younger Wladimir who was more willing to trade, I see Ron Lyle being able to pull off a Brewster/Purrity type upset if there would be one person who could, but even then it would be quite a long shot.

But what's his best win though ? Samuel Peter ? he's only faced one elite Heavyweight and lost, and has mostly fought chumps except for a few decent fighters. People are trying to discredit the old fighters. But how many of the so called contenders in this era would even be top 10 in any other era ?

Don't knock Earnie, Earnie was the MAN. "Responsible for more Blackouts than Con-Edison!" Earnie was the most feared puncher ever, atleast as feared as Foreman and Marciano. BRUTAL MOTHERFOCKING PUNCHER HE WAS. Check this out:

I think we just don't know how good he is, because his resume (not his fault) absolutely stinks!! When I watch him I think he looks awful. He looks like Ivan Drago chasing Apollo Creed around in the first round of that fight. He could be one of the greatest ever, but he could just be very average and have only done what many others could have done if they had been around in this era.

If you think about it, would any of these (middel of the road) guys have lost to anybody (except Lewis) that Vitali has fought??

    Tim Witherspoon
    Tony Tucker
    Ray Mercer
    Michael Moorer
    Tommy Morrison
    Frank Bruno
    Oliver McCall

I wouldnt even say they were middel of the road, H. But I kno what you mean. And you forgot Mike Weaver who almost beat Holmes as well. I think they all beat everybody V fought, and I even think Witherspoon and a younger Mercer beats Lewis, and a focused McCall beats lewis too. Moorer would get smoked with his weak chin however.

i agree but it isnt neccesarily about who vitali has fought so much as how he has won

in all the fights i have seen hin in and there has been a fair few i dont remember him losing many rounds

he lost a couple of tight ones to lews and was losing the 1st round to solis and that is it

appart from against bird obviously but he had a good excuse

he has won every other fight and every round in all of those fights
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
