what a slab of ox shit that itinerary is. If and when you DO actually go for the sausages, it is undertaken with something well beyond humble, toned-down indulgence: it's something quite the more akin to eating what is wrongly termed "sausages" served to you by someone who is wrongly termed an "international" or "cosmopolitan" citizen of the world, as most likely he/she has rarely eaten anything even remotely different from beanpaste soup or pickled vegetables.
You are a deprived soul, BBB. 'Gavins' is where you get your sausages. You can order online and have them delivered to your home. They are quality and taste great. Highly recommended. Just do a Google search for Gavin's sausages and you will indeed be able to consume sublime meaty goodness prior to watching people hit each other on the head. I don't eat any of that rubbish from E-mart, only proper sausages for me.
Gotta get a KEB check card or something as I have zilch else for online purchases. Miles can one maintain a KEB account AFTER having left for good? Hope I can access the dough at ATMs internationally as I shudder at the thought of carrying more than US $10k in my pocket and therefore must leave the rest somewhere. Closed BA account years ago (several kilometers of chumchi kimbap ago).
p.s. just read loads of goodness re: Gavin's but all posts were from 2006 and the website listed turns up jack piss. Pls post the website as I will have to order some a.s.a.p.
If you didn't close down the account and there is money in there, then you are good to go. They don't shut down accounts easily. KEB is obviously the best way to go for foreigners and debit cards, but Nonghyup is pretty good and Samsung are branching out too with their credit cards.
I don't know the website as the wife does the ordering and she is sleeping, so will try and find out tomorrow.
Meanwhile here is an article on Gavin's sausages as that is the nearest I could find myself on looking for my sausages. Great to see him getting UK press.
