A truely special night in British boxing history IMO, even a 140 version of Manny Pacquio would have been tested that night. Would Manny have beaten Hatton that night? I don't know...but that was Hattons Prime in a nutshell, it was a truly memorable night for any boxing fan.
He sure would. That Hatton had Dave Paris with him.
Hatton had Tszyu number that night, don't even try and deny him that.
Yeah he had his number coz Tszyu gave him his number after the fight, but Ricky definitely had Dave Parris's number before the fight
    ooooffff bitter
Referee or no referee in the ring, there's only so much an outside influence can do and even if he was in Hattons favor it doesn't matter because Hatton put on his career best performance and nobody can take that away from. If Tszyu was as good as everybody said ( I know prime Tszyu would have beaten that Hatton on that night) prior to the fight then he should have handled Hatton pretty easily. However Hatton was highly motivated and looked unstoppable and it was enough to make a legend quit, the referee didn't stop it, Tszyu wanted no more and that speaks wonders for Hatton that night. So don't BS me about the ref, because that wasn't a factor in the stoppage. Hatton was a bull that night!
Tam, I wouldnt let them two wind ya up, they are primed and love it, especially VD, he loves Ricky secrectly
Ive been use to it for years, if he's a British fighter VD will do anything to have a pop at him.
Pfft First fight ricky wasnt allowed to hold in - Floyd Mayweather and look how many times he landed on ricky at a distance...you dont think Tszyu would of timed Hatton more often if he had more space? Your being naive, Hattons wrestling helped him big time in the tszyu fight.

Its funny how every is like hatton went down hill after the mayweather fight...no he went down hill when he wasnt allowed to wrestle. The end.

Not bitter, facing the facts. Even americans think Dave Parris was rooting ricky hatton. And yes I do think Cortez reffed the Mayweather fight well. He stopped Ricky from holding, you wanna hold and wrestle fuck off to the ufc.

Also I noticed in the PAC fight how tentative Hatton was on trying to close the distance. Ricky wasn't aggressive in his pursuit of PAC like we seen in other fights.

PAC is real quick with nice footwork and in an exchange on the ropes where Ricky could maul he let PAC slip out the back door without much effort...
