From what Booze has said, they kissed once a long time ago when they were drunk, way before Booze and the new woman were together. The girl he kissed is in a committed relationship with his best friend and he's made it clear that he just wants to be friends with her.

Being upset about something like that and making Booze feel like he has to choose between them is possessive and controlling, and if the situations were reversed the man would be castigated for acting like that.

I think Missy's response highlights what Booze's initial problem was. Telling his gf about it.

Just keep that shit to yourself. What happens in the barn stays in the barn. Opening up to girls and assuming you will get points for honesty is a fool's mission.
