With the Klitschkos the general concencus is that they are on top because they are so big that the poor division cant beat them (although Purity, Byrd, Sanders, Lewis and Brewster have) , they arent unbeatable and have never been thought of as such. While Mike was with Rooney he was being called unbeatable and they were having to take fighters out of retirement and other weight classes specifically to try and challenge him.

Mike was only thought of as "unbeatable" cause he would psych his opponents out and intimidate them, they were done before the fight would start, look at the Seldon fight, neither Wlad, Vitali, much less Joe Frazier would have been psyched out by ANY VERSION of Mike Tyson, so once the bell rang Tyson would already be facing an up hill battle

thing is Tyson was always a mentally weak fighter, even in his prime, the first time someone stood up to him and went blow to blow with him, he lost, it's not a coincidence that it became a habit afterwards either, he barely made it out alive against Ruddock, and well you know how the Holyfield fights went, it's absurd to say that Mike Tyson was ever a mentally strong fighter when faced with adversity and yes someone stepping up to you and going tooth and nail with you would be adversity to a prime Tyson seeing how everyone would basically roll over for Mike when he was in his prime

Lewis is of a higher caliber than Douglas and he got the job done against an undefeated Tyson, who's to say that Tyson would have even beaten a focused Riddick fucking Bowe? funny you keep bringing up Vitali's loss to Lewis yet that's not even considered the best or "prime" version of Vitali, the Vitali Klitschko of recent years is considered to be a lot more technically and strategically skilled than the one that took on Lewis, albeit an older version, Mike couldn't handle a 6'3 Douglas who wasn't known for having a great chin pumping his jab in his face, who's to say that he would have been able to cope against a 6'7 iron kettle for a chin Vitali who has 9 inches of reach and more or less 40 lbs of muscle on him and whom doesn't take a back step? seriously bro, Tyson in his prime was good....but he wasn't THAT good
