I love when people say Cotto ran. Of course he is going to move and box as much as possible. He is a guy that should still be at 147. He doesn't have a chin. Why should he stand and trade with Margarito until late in a fight after he has softened him up. Last couple of rounds you could see cotto feeling like Margarito could hit him but it wasn't going to do serious damage.

Did Margarito use illegal wraps in his first fight? I don't know. I think he did, but no one other than his former trainer and Margarito will ever know. I do like what Manny Steward said after watching video of Margarito getting his hands taped last night (something along the lines of Margarito was doing like basically all fighters and watching his hands get wrapped intently). Steward was saying he still finds Margarito's explanation about not knowing what happened prior to the Mosley fight to not be credible.

Margarito has sounded like a guilty guy to me. he said he didn't know what was happening prior to the Mosley fight. That sounds like bullshit to me. You are there, your hands are getting wrapped, you are watching it be done.

And if Margarito were telling the truth and he was oblivious, then why does he insist that he didn't have any plaster for his fight with Cotto?

If you claim you didn't know and couldn't tell that someone put on illegal wraps in one fight then how would you have known and been able to tell about previous fights
