Margarito's carreer, beginning when he started to have the greatest success, must be questioned. He is 1-3 since discovery and found guilty thus suspended. He knockedout Sergio Martinez in 2000. I would start there.

Does Margarito and Cepetillo strike you as smart people who can get away with plasters for 10 years?

When fighters are getting their hands wrapped, commision members and opposing camp members are there to watch the whole thing, it's their job..

It's ludacrious to think that they loaded their gloves for a decade..

for a decade no...but for the biggest fight of his career, wouldn't doubt it for a minute, especially given the results after being found out

It does not take geniuses to mix cement. Criminals who aren't smart get caught. Smart criminals get caught too. Since Margarito got caught he doesn't wear his foes down.

It is Pugilist Sound and I am not new to boxing. There is nothing kid about me. I think I pretty much agreed with the two guys you say is fair and reasonable except they never said how long but do think he did it more than once. I am in agreement. Only difference is I would look back more into his career.
    I am not naive.

NO is my answer. Cottos boxing skills and Margos ability to get punched in the face to easily was what won him the fight. The reason he could not see out of one eye is because of Cotto punches. If it was a headbut it would be a different story.
This unusually makes me think of MMA. When Brock lost to Frank Mir due to a leg lock he said it was a cheap victory. But could Brock have won the fight with a broken leg. It is a possibilty but highly unlikely. Cotto won because he was the better man on the night.
