May I remind you floyd is the BEST counter puncher in boxing today....marquez countered the shit out of pac, what would floyd do to him? 10 times worse while getting hit a whole lot less

True, the Marquez 3 fight has also destroyed my luster for the fight. I think Floyd beats him up and does so worse than he beat Hatton. Hatton could close the gap and spoil Floyds best work, Pac doesn't have that kind of gap closing ability and isn't going to do shit on the outside against Floyd and it isn't as though Manny has an inside game even if he were to get inclose.

Pac will get picked off and Floyd hits a lot harder than Marquez IMO. Stoppage in 9.

There is a difference , Marquez has faught Pac 2 times before he knows his style. Mayweather doesn't.

I'd like to believe that Pac vs. Floyd would be competitive. Floyd would certainly have to be the favorite, but I just don't see him being able to dominate Pacquiao, who's got speed to burn, and throws punches in bunches.

    This sounds somehow vaguely familiar

One the factors that sticks in my head that could equate to an interesting fight. Floyd loves the ropes, he camps on them and I think Pac will have opportunities that were never there with JMM. Jmm used a lot of unique tactics that he developed over the previous 2 fights. PBF has stated many times he could care less about film or studying his opponent, he does what he does and makes adjustments during the fight. I think this will be a lot more competitive then the JMM/PBF triangle theory.
