I never cared much for Chavez Sr either.. If Rubio is able to hurt Jr, we might see a good fight, if not Jr will likely win a controversial decision.

Julio Ceaser Chavez Snr was one of the greatest fighters I have ever seen. I love his style of boxing it was beautiful and brutal. You take that back.

Julio Ceaser Chavez Snr was one of the greatest fighters I have ever seen. I love his style of boxing it was beautiful and brutal. You take that back.

I didn't say Julio Sr. wasn't great in his heyday, check him out clowning Uncle Roger for the WBC super featherweight title when Chavez was just 22, in 1985:

Rubio is not a bad fight for Chavez Jr. It's a shame he ducked Martinez and I'm not forgiving him for same, but Rubio is a legit challenge and he deserves some credit if he wins.
