he's putting himself in what should be a dream position for Rubio, he's dipping down and is wide open for uppercuts, but Rubio is just doing a lot of chasing little anything else
The weight, physicality of Chavez is huge here. He's literally mauling the shit out of Rubio who is throwing zero straight shots so far...he needs to piss or get off the pot. NOW!

exactly, IMO Rubio is fighting as he did against Pavlik which in other words means he's not fighting much, he needs to time Jr and catch him coming in and just let his hands go

Rubio's only chance is to hurt Chavez Jr, and that doesn't seem likely.

Rubio needs to flip the script and go all uppercuts...Chavez is totally bent over and leading with head (butts)...and his left wing elbow gives Floyd a run for the money

he's completely open for the uppercut and Rubio had success with it early in the 8th, they seriously need to make a ruling on how much weight u can pack on over night, cause 22 lbs in 24 hours is just ridiculous

Chavez is winning, but it is closer than Lederman says. Rubio needs to finish sharp and strong to make it close.
