    Awesome!

You know what, I believed he could and can beat Cotto because I was hoping for that wild marauding strng fighter but he boxed. He needs to be very fit to fight like he used to but if he fought non stop mental like he did against Lewis and Forrest then he would have beaten Mosely and Cotto and who knows, he may have beaten Trinidad and De La Hoya too. I think his losses have come more down to fitness and inactivity between bouts than him not having the abiloty to beat those fighters. Forrest could have beaten all the fighters that beat Mayorga.

I thought and hoped he could beat Cotto as well. The Mosley fight was there for the taking, and the club and clinch style Mayorga used in that one was working, until he gassed out in the last round and got KO'd. In hindsight I don't think Mayorga ever had the talent to beat Oscar or Tito outside of a puncher's chance.

Inactivity and refusing to train right has shot Mayorga in the foot big time.

I believe he can outbox Rubio believe it or not, but I don't see him beating Chavez Jr. Just too big and with Roach in his corner and all the money behind him in addition to a huge youth and size advantage I'd view Mayorga as a real underdog against Jr.

But, that could all change if he looks great against Rubio.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
