If he managed to do that, a rematch with Ward would seem the only logical option. Froch-Dirrell 2 is the only other one at this weight that would make any sense. (I think Froch-Cloud would be a GREAT fight though.)

I don't think it's possible to sap Carl's confidence. I bet he looks at the Ward loss, like styles make fights, and other than Ward, he's the best at 68.

What do you guys make of Magee picking Bute, given that he faced Froch and Bute?

The froch that magee lost to was like prince Naseem, then when he went against robin Reid he was different, he moved differently, he became more mobile but more durable. Watch frochs fights before Magee, porras and then watch him against Reid.

Froch is simply to slow against slick fighters, he is what he is to slow you do get carried away with
his durable tea you can only take so much before it catches up with you.
I look at Froch he is a good fighter, that's his level a honest tough fighter.
