Gentlemen, it's the week of the fight. Excited? How's the undercard?

The undercard is utter crap. Although that's understandable because it would have cost a fortune to get Bute here.
But why exactly has Bute come here? This is not PPV or a contest that has Britain at a standstill. Team Bute must be hugely confident of whitewashing him.
So I think Bute will stop Froch (I was surprised that he's bigger when they came face-to-face). However, I've never picked FRoch to win a single fight so this is par for the course, and I will actually be cheering him on.
The fight NOT going the distance is my bet.

Bute is open to the right hand, Golovkin stopped him in the amateurs straight right hand have a look on
Y Tube, see what you think.
You don't need amateur evidence to show Bute can be stopped. Andrade knocked him out. That's one of the luckiest wins ever.
If Froch is still in the fight going into the latter stages, considering the home-advantage and crowd support, then he might Taylor him.

Yes, the knock on Bute has to be that he has a suspect chin. He was stopped wearing full head-gear by Golovkin. I attribute the Andrade knock down to fatigue. Has he been down as a pro other than that?
God is a concept, By which we can measure, Our pain, I'll say it again, God is a concept, By which we can measure, Our pain, I don't believe in magic, I don't believe in I-ching, I don't believe in bible, I don't believe in tarot, I don't believe in Hitler, I don't believe in Jesus, I don't believe in Kennedy, I don't believe in Buddha, I don't believe in mantra, I don't believe in Gita, I don't believe in yoga, I don't believe in kings, I don't believe in Elvis, I don't believe in Zimmerman, I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me!!
The relevant question is whether Bute has improved since that first Andrade fight. Don't forget that he beat Bika who is a tough cookie. Andrade, Bika and Johnson all are of a similiar mold though: aggressive, come-forward fighters. Froch is a different animal. When it comes to experience, however, there is no doubt that Froch has the edge. It's not close. Froch probably has the edge over any single fighter in or around that weight class though, including Ward. To me, Froch has a puncher's chance here, but a decent puncher's chance. It's quite possible he ko's Bute with a big uppercut from distance that catches Bute unaware. On the other hand, I don't see Froch outboxing Bute, although Froch has a great jab. As you can see, I'm torn.

Bute on points or froch by ko. If froch turns up old he will lose, if the froch that fought pascal turns up then bute is in big trouble
Bute says he's fighting in Nottingham because he's seen as a fighter who stays at home and fights handpicked opponents and he wants respect. So he's come to Nottingham and he's open to fighting Ward in California and Kessler in Denmark. He's there because he wants to be there.
Froch has never knocked anybody out at this level other than Jermain Taylor whose stamina problem was more responsible for the KO than anything else. Taylor also put Froch down and Bute hits a lot harder. Froch was unbelievably sparked by Manfredo in the amateurs so is not indestructible and is showing his age. Bute is much faster than Froch and is a devastating body puncher and Froch was hurt with bodyshots against Kessler. Bute wins by sensational bodyshot KO in the ninth round.
I think Bute will surprise a lot of people in this fight, i really like Froch,
but i have a feeling he will be outclassed, Bute is a real quality operator
and will show his class.Wide DECISION.
Manfredo knocked out Froch? Where did this come from?
No way anyone is believing that without bombproof evidence. I'm not believing it even if I see it.

I had never heard of it either but there is a couple of mentions searching on google of Froch losing by 4th round TKO to Manfredo in the amateurs. Could you imagine how much of a cock he'd have looked if Calzaghe knew about that when he was gobbing off about Joe avoiding him
Bit like Sam Peter getting beaten by Harrison
No wonder Froch has never mentioned it![]()
Froch looks the real deal here and bute looks like he knows it.
Even roy jones in his prime wouldn't stop froch.
