If Haye can't fight Vitali next I think there are options out there for him. I wouldn't mind him going to America to fight either Adameck, Arreloa or Mitchell.

If that doesn't go through imagine Haye taking on Price or Fury?? These Would be massive fights in the UK and Haye has shown that when he fights taller fighters he can struggle. I think Price has a better chance than Fury, but I reckon Price might be a bit too big for Haye? What do u think?

Out of all the other Brits I'd give Price most chance of beating Haye. Haye would absolutely obliterate Fury. The thing is though price has never been in with anyone anywhere near Haye's level yet and there are a lot f questions he needs to answer before we can really start matching him up with the likes of Haye. I'd like to see Price and Chisora next year, I think that would give us some indication of where he is in comparison to Haye!

I think Haye and price have done a fair bit of sparring together.

Yes thats right. Haye had him in for the Klitschko fight. Price seemed pretty keen to dismiss any fight with Haye on saturday night. Now was that because he didn't feel he was ready or was it as he said "a fight with me makes no sense for David now"? It's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing in 18 months from now but I'd be surprised if we ever did see it.

Yeah I heard they sparred together for the klit fight, I wonder how this spar went. I think it's pretty clear Price has a lot of respect for Haye and maybe he doesn't want to get in there with him which is fair enough.

I think Price needs to step up the competition levels now though, he's the best in Britain IMO, maybe one behind Haye after that solid performance. I think Price should face Chisora soon to see where he compares to Haye and Vitali. But he's on track though, I just wish he was a bit more active and I know that's not entirely his fault with Maloney losing his sky deal, but Price is a future world champion I reckon and he needs the best exposure possible and moving a bit quicker with his competition levels, because he is more than capable of knocking any heavyweight out I reckon.

    Great post.

I agree 100%. I don't know if it's been announced officially yet but Price has got a contract to fight on Boxnation. I hope it's all Maloneys cards and then if Hatton went there too the £10 a month would be even more worth it. I'd like to see Price get in with some ex world title challengers now. I think he already has the beating of Arreola, Chambers and Adamek so I'd be disappointed if he's not fought at that level 12 months from now.

Chisora will be matched up easily for the next 12 months I think to get some W's back on his record but I think he'll be back and fight Price at the back end of next year. Price for me would take him in around 8.

Its a shame sky sports cant get behind Price because I really do think he is capable of doing something in the heavyweight division, maybe even more than Haye with his size. Sky sports will be gutted when Price is going places on boxnation if this is the case I think, because I genuinely believe when the Klitschkos go Price will be up there in with the best in division. Hes looked good so far Price, I hope he carries on!

Price has not just sparred loads with Haye he signed with Hayemaker promotions when he turned pro. They were his team.

Price admits himself it's too early to fight Haye. He's looking at Audley or Skelton next.
